Welcome back to our exciting teaching series, GENERATIONS.
Our core thesis: God wants all generations to serve TOGETHER. No one generation is better than the other. Each generation has a unique gift to offer the world, born of both their wisdom and their wounds.
Talk 4 explores how different generations express love.
Each generation expresses love in very different ways.
This is why we have conflicts. We don’t understand each other.
But we actually need each other to be different.
Each generation’s expression of love is like one piece of a giant jigsaw puzzle. You need the other pieces to complete the picture of this amazing thing called love.
Talk 4 is divided into two parts:
Part 1: How Boomers and Gen Xs Express Love
Part 2: How Gen Ys and Gen Zs Express Love
Talk 4’s big message is Carry each other. -
WE’RE starting a brand-new series titled GENERATIONS: How You Were Shaped—And What You Can Do About It.
Generations are groups of people born within the same, roughly 15- to 20-year time period, who share similar social, historical, and cultural experiences during their formative years.
Because they grew up in the same context, they tend to develop similar values, attitudes, and behaviors, which shape their lifestyle, their work, their health, their relationships, and even their faith.
This series will discuss the details about five generations:
Baby Boomers, Gen X, Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen A.
We will discover the genius of each generation, the specific strength it developed because of its circumstances, but also its blind spots, its fragility, its Achilles heels. Its strengths and weaknesses are two sides of the same coin. If we reject a generation’s weakness, we may be rejecting its strength too. The Talk has not just one but two big messages: You are good and God is blessing your generation. -

In Talk 2: How Each Generation Works, we explore how each generation relates to work in various ways–and if we follow God and love our neighbor, these differences can complement and bless the world.

WELCOME to the last Talk of our series, CALLED TO WITNESS.
This is the last talk of our series CALLED TO WITNESS.
Talk 5 presents the other 4 Qualities of a Loving Community: Forgiving; Courageous; Humble; and Committed.
The Israelites were faithfully devoted to following the Christian teachings. So, the Lord kept adding to their number daily. -
OUR series, CALLED TO WITNESS, disturbs our comfortable life,
because in this 5-Talk course, we’re exploring what it means to evangelize,
to be witnesses for God.
But being God’s witness is dangerous.
Talk 3 presents martyrs–those who were persecuted, who died,
as they openly lived and defended their faith amid non-Christian countries or environments.
God still calls us to be His witnesses—His martyrs. Not necessarily shed blood, but to die to our own selfishness so we can witness God’s Love to the world.
For many of us it is impossible to do that. The only solution is to encounter Jesus again, seeing His sacrifice on the Cross daily, and being so overwhelmed by His love, we cannot help loving Him back.
The key message of Talk 3: Keep meeting Jesus. -
WELCOME to the second installment of our series, CALLED TO WITNESS: How To Share The Good News with Your World.
Talk 1 What Good News Are You Sharing? defined what is Good News (It is Jesus, not a retirement home in Heaven). The key message: God is making all things new.
Talk 2 is about what witness really means. In the Bible, the Hebrew word for witness is eid. Eid isn’t something we do, but something we become—because of what we’ve experienced. The key message of Talk 2: The goodness of God will make you His witness. -
WELCOME to the second-to-last installment of our series, CALLED TO WITNESS.
A quick review:
Talk 1: What Good News Are You Sharing? is about God’s call for you to be His witness in your world. The key message: God is making all things new.
Talk 2, How Can I Be a Witness? is about what witness really means. In one sense, you don’t just choose to become a witness. Instead, the goodness of God will compel you to become a witness. The key message: The goodness of God will make you His witness.
Talk 3, The Cost of Being a Witness, presents martyrs– those who were persecuted, who died, as they openly lived and defended the Catholic faith amid non-Christian countries or environments. To be God’s witnesses, we must encounter Jesus again and again. The key message: Keep meeting Jesus.
Talk 4 laments that we’ve added to our Christianity, even to our Feast Community, stuff that makes us spiritually sick: Spiritual pride, self-righteousness, legalism, and hypocritical religiosity. In the process, we become bad witnesses. To follow God, we must do so with a bunch of imperfect friends and love each other. It’s God’s most important strategy for winning the world. This is the big dream of The Feast: To build small loving spiritual families all over the world. The key message: God is making us a loving community -
Welcome to our new series, CALLED TO WITNESS: How To Share
The Good News with Your World.
God calls you to be His witness in your world: In your family. In your office. In your school. Among your friends.
What will you share? Good News.
But there is a lot of confusion about what Good News really means.
Talk 1 clearly defines Good News.

WELCOME to Talk 5 of our series, HOW DID WE GET HERE? Making Sense
of Life When Everything Falls Apart—A Bible Study on The Exile.
The New Temple. A new world superpower, Persia, defeated Babylon. Persia did not set the Israelites free, but it allowed the Israelites to go back home to Jerusalem. They returned and rebuilt a new Temple. But it was not as grand as their former Temple. God did not intend for them to have just a building or a house. God gave them a Person as their New Temple–Jesus Christ. He would live in them, and they would be God’s House. That’s what you are now.
The key message of Talk 5 is: You Are God’s House. -
The Popular Promise: Jeremiah 29:11 is one of the most beloved verses in the Bible, but it was originally spoken to people who had lost absolutely everything—prisoners and deportees in Babylon.
The Meaning of Shalom: The “prosperity” God promises is Shalom, which refers to wholeness and right relationships with God, others, and self, rather than mere material wealth.
The Call to Engage: God didn’t tell the exiles to escape or wait for it to end; He told them to build, plant, and pray for the prosperity of their enemy city.
The Ultimate Reframe: The Exile wasn’t just a geographical displacement; it was a spiritual journey to bring God’s people back to their true home—God Himself.
The Key Message: God has plans for your shalom. -
WELCOME to our exciting new series, HOW DID WE GET HERE?
Making Sense of Life When Everything Falls Apart—A Bible Study on The Exile.
The Exile is about the Babylonian conquest of the Kingdom of Judah, led by King Nebuchadnezzar II. It occurred in major waves between 597 and 586 BCE.
It resulted in the destruction of Jerusalem, the razing of Solomon’s Temple, and the forced exile of the Jewish population to Babylon. This period, known as the Babylonian Captivity, lasted until the Persian conquest in 538 BCE.
The Jewish Exile lasted for 70 years.
Our Lord Jesus had the Cross as His Waiting Room.
The key message of Talk 1 is: God is in your Waiting Room. -

The Israelites faced two ways to respond to the Babylonian conquest:
Rebel
Compromise
But in Talk 4, we talk about the The Third Way: Follow God yet bless their enemies. Because they did not obey the king, three of the leaders were thrown into a fire. But the King saw the three men unharmed, walking around the fire with a fourth man who “looks like a son of the gods.”
The key message? God is in the fire. -
WELCOME to the second chapter of our series, HOW DID WE GET HERE? Making Sense of Life When Everything Falls Apart—A Bible Study on The Exile.
Before the Exile, everyone felt safe in Jerusalem. After all, they were the Chosen Ones. God promised Abraham the land where they were living.
But in 587 B.C., the superpower of the time, Babylon, invaded their city. And Jerusalem’s impregnable walls toppled. Most of all, their beloved Temple—God’s House—was ransacked, desecrated, and burned down. And the people were slaughtered on the streets or carried away to Babylon to become slaves.
Talk 1 is The Waiting Room.
Talk 2 is The Gift of Lament.
If the book of Psalms is 35% lament, and the book of Job is 85% lament, Lamentations is 100% lament.
But the Good News is God was with the Israelites in their long years of laments.
The key message of Talk 2 is: “I may be exiled, but I am not abandoned.” -
Talk 6 is titled Already– But Not Yet because yes, God’s House– we– are already up. But we are not yet complete. We’re caught in this tension between already redeemed by Jesus, yet still waiting to be fully redeemed by Jesus.
The key message of Talk 6 is: God’s House is still under construction. -

Talk 1 of this series answered the question, ‘Why Fuss about Health?’.
Talk 2 is about sleep as an act of worship.
Talk 3 focuses on movement.
We have a national crisis.
The Philippines has a massive problem: An entire generation is now sedentary. We’ve heard of Gen X, and Gen Z, and Gen A. And now, Generation O–which means overworked, overwhelmed, and overweight.
The key message of Talk 3: God wants you strong. -
Welcome to the final installment of our series, WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, Loving God with a Healthy Body.
Talk 1 of this series answered the question, ‘Why Fuss about Health?’
Talk 2 told us that sleep is an act of worship.
Talk 3 inspired us to move.
Talk 4 presented food as essential for our health–both physical
and spiritual.
Talk 5 will now talk about our relationship with stress.
The key message: Carry your cross. -
Talk 1 of this series answered the question Why Fuss about Health?– and inspired us to focus on watching our diet, walk, etc.
Talk 2 is telling us to sleep. Sleep is the foundation of our physical health. But as the title of Talk 2 indicates, sleep is also important for the soul. Because sleep will teach you to deepen your trust in God– by trusting that He watches you even when you’re sleeping.
The key message of Talk 2: Trust your Watchman. -
WELCOME back to our series, WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, Loving God with a Healthy Body.
In the past three weeks, we talked about why you should care for your body (Talk 1), why sleep is an act of worship (Talk 2), and why movement magnifies the Lord (Talk 3).
In Talk 4, we tackle the topic everyone has an opinion about: Food.
Key message of Talk 4: God is our real food. -
Welcome to our brand new series, WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, Loving God with a Healthy Body.
Our series title is taken from the Shema, the greatest commandment of Jesus: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.” (Mark 12:30 NIV)
For the next five weeks, we’re going to talk about your health, but not just for the usual reasons gurus talk about—to have a better physique, sharper cognitive functions, more independence as you get older, etc.
You want to be healthy because of one glorious reason: You want to love God with all of your strength.
