He is the founder of State Shifters, a brand dedicated to helping people unify mind, body, and soul so they live lives of meaning and purpose. Jordan left his corporate Corporate Accounting Job in 2017, to move to Toronto Canada to work as a meditation teacher, corporate mindfulness consultant, and trainer guiding busy overachievers out of their heads and back into their hearts. Jordan now works with teams and individuals who are ready to go to the next level of performance & become purpose-driven through the use of deep embodiment work, and high-performance coaching.
I by far, like, been amazed and my mouth drops to the floor every time I see one of Jordan's videos. They are super creative, his hustle is real, and it seems like he's putting on multiple videos a day. It's true social media hustle!
Now, this podcast is not about that, but more about the content and messages that Jordan shares with the world. These are messages about being a healthy man in today's age, living with integrity, showing up to life, and showing up to challenges lots of great nuggets in this one. From psychology, the human condition, and men's work. So I hope you enjoy this podcast episode with Jordan and English.

***TRIGGER WARNING - This episode contains conversations about mental health and suicide.***
Avremi Gourarie is a prolific music publisher behind so much of the Jewish world's music. In this episode, we discuss with him the life of his daughter Yocheved, her struggle with an eating disorder, depression, and her heartbreaking recent death.
On December 22, 2020, Avremi's daughter Yocheved took her own life. Yocheved was a kind and thoughtful person. She was a top student and was in the process of applying to Ph.D. nursing programs. Posthumously, the family learned that she was accepted at Columbia University in their DNP program and on track to becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Unfortunately, her battle with mental illness raged, and she succumbed to it, not having fulfilled her dreams.
This conversation is powerful and it gives me a lot of hope. Avremi is honest and authentic, and he doesn't hold back. The episode is intense and emotional and it's a very much-needed conversation that can be taboo in many circles. On that note, if you are struggling and/or know someone who is struggling never hesitate to reach out and check in with your friend, family, and/or neighbor.
Dial the new suicide & crisis hotline at 988
Thanks for tuning in to this episode with Avremi Gourarie.

After walking through a diagnosis and recovering from cancer as a teenager Fally Klein was introduced to the concept of energy and the power of the subconscious. Fally learned to navigate the emotions and stigma that came from having cancer at such a young age and what she learned from it as a result. Fally experienced a miraculous healing that she believes set her on a path that she was destined to travel.
I had so much fun recording this podcast because it went to places I didn't expect and surprised me with new insights and perspectives that I never really thought of. We talk about a whole lot from spirituality, plant medicine, breathwork, the healing journey, different modalities, and much, much more. So I truly hope you enjoy this podcast as much as I enjoyed recording this. Enjoy.

Judah Mischel is the Executive Director of Camp HASC, the Jewish community’s premier summer program for individuals with special needs, and is the newly appointed Mashpiah of OU-NCSY.
Prior to assuming a full-time role at Camp HASC, Rav Judah was a Maggid Shiur & Director of Programing at Yeshivat Reishit in Beit Shemesh. A talmid of Yeshivat Shaalvim, he received Semicha from the Jerusalem Rabbinate, a BA in History from Yeshiva University, an MA in Education from YU’s Azrieli Graduate School, and was a Graduate Fellow at the CUNY Center for Coexistence at the School for Public Affairs. Rav Judah was Director of Student Activities and a member of the Judaic Studies faculty at the Frisch School, in Paramus, NJ, and led Aish HaTorah Jerusalem’s Return & Learn Program.
I admire Judah so much. I mean, besides all the Holy Work he's been doing with Camp HASC for years, he brings so much joy, comfort, and love to individuals with special needs and their families. Judah most recently wrote a new book, Baderech: Along the Path of Teshuvah, which I have been reading over the past year.
The book has brought me so much insight and wisdom and has been warming my soul towards the return to my higher self with so many beautiful stories and antidotes and teachings that he brings in so beautiful, yet digestible.
On the show we really delve into beautiful, deep, and raw topics around trust, returning to our higher selves, that path, that struggle, that journey. It's a wonderful, authentic conversation and I do hope you. Enjoy

Abie Rotenberg is a prolific Orthodox Jewish musician, composer, and singer. He's been producing music since the mid-1970s. Abie grew up in Queens, New York, surrounded by other up-and-coming religious Jewish musicians. He studied the piano and even taught himself guitar at a young age. I recently was able to produce and direct, "Journey At Sea" a song from Abie and Lev Tahor's new album, Journey's Five. It was such an honor and a privilege to bring that story to life.

Rabbi Chaim Miller was educated at the Haberdashers’ Aske’s School in London, England, and studied Medical Science at Leeds University. At the age of twenty-one, he first began to explore his Jewish roots in full-time Torah study. Less than a decade later, he published the best-selling Kol Menachem Chumash—Gutnick Edition, which made over a thousand complex discourses of the late Lubavitcher Rebbe easily accessible to the layman. His 2011 compilation, the Lifestyle Books Torah, Five Books of Moses—Slager Edition was distributed to thousands of servicemen and women in the U.S. Army. In 2013, he was chosen by the Jewish Press as one of sixty “Movers and Shakers” in the Jewish world. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, with his wife Chani and seven children.
I sincerely enjoyed my conversation with Rabbi Chaim. We covered so many beautiful points and so many lessons came forth from our conversation together. We delve into one of the greatest self-help books of all time, the Tanya we talked about the law of charity and astrology. There's even a brief reading of my chart in this podcast. So yes, stay tuned for that. I'm sure you'll enjoy and find something quite rewarding by listening to this podcast. So sit back, relax and enjoy this episode with Rabbi Chaim Miller.

Rabbi Lazer Brody was born in Washington, D.C. in 1949. After receiving his bachelor's degree in agriculture from the University of Maryland in 1970, he moved to Israel and joined the Israel Defense Forces regular army, and served in one of the elite special-forces units. He is a decorated combat veteran of two wars and dozens of counter-insurgency and anti-terrorist missions on both sides of Israel's borders. After surviving a near-suicidal mission to Beirut during the Israel-Lebanon conflict of 1982, Brody could no longer ignore the hand of G-d in his life. He became a baal-tshuva and left his mountaintop farm to study Torah in Jerusalem. Nine years of intensive Talmudic, ethics, and legal studies, led to his rabbinical ordination in 1992. He devoted another two years of postgraduate study to personal and family counseling and subsequently spent two years as rabbi and spiritual rehabilitation director of a major Israeli prison. There, he created a highly successful program of spiritual rehabilitation for prisoners based on Tshuva. In 1996, Brody moved to Ashdod and became the understudy of the famed Melitzer Rebbe, a contemporary giant in rabbinical law and personal counseling. Today, Lazer Brody dedicates his time to Jewish Outreach, and particularly to spreading the teachings of Rebbe Nachman of Breslev around the globe.
Committed to all of humanity, Rabbi Brody’s blog posts, podcasts, and live Zoom lectures are free of charge, so that money is no barrier to the health and happiness that you yearn for.
I love what Rabbi Brody is all about. I've read his work and I'm really, really excited to share with you our conversation in the following podcast. So I do hope that you too take away some points of inspiration, and how you can incorporate that into your day-to-day life so you can live with more serenity, peace, and joy.

After spending a decade and a half studying the depths of Torah, Kaballah, Chasidus, and Spirituality, Moshe Gersht has gifted us with a new lens on life. With his spiritual guide, It's All The Same To Me, Moshe Gersht inspires readers to discover the freedom and joy of a life lived in the deep connection of "sameness." Moshe introduces the powerful kabbalistic idea of Hishtavus to explain how getting beyond our ego is not only essential to your happiness but is also the key to loving the life you experience. Moshe makes the most esoteric concepts seem like an easy read and every page is an enjoyable moment.
I've gained so much from this book, and I'm really excited to have him on the podcast, where we discuss a whole range of topics we touch on his incredible, inspiring story, from being part of a rock band out in LA to being teaching spiritual concepts and principles in Jerusalem and the journey from there to here and to being here. Yes, being present tools, gifts, and how we can go ahead and live a more present life that leads to prosperity, serenity, and peace. It's an incredible conversation. I really enjoyed it and I'm sure you will too. Thank you so much for tuning in. Enjoy this podcast with Moshe.

I'm a big fan of his work for years now. He's working with the top artists and brands out in Israel, and he's just also a super humble, beautiful human being. And I've really enjoyed our time together. I mean, actually, he was born in Tashkent and then moved to Israel, and my family actually comes from Tashkent. So it's just cool for like just connecting on that level and from there moving into the arts, into the processes, into motivation, into how to create and build the life that you want to live. I mean, we cover it all, and I'm just really grateful that Roman took the time to sit down with me and create this podcast together. So sit back, relax and enjoy this podcast episode on the Great Day podcast.

Today I have someone who I really wanted to have on the podcast for some time now, and we finally made it happen. Let me introduce Modi.
Modi's been voted one of the top ten comedians in New York City by The Hollywood Reporter. Modi is one of the comedy circuit's most sought-after performers. Modi has been featured on HBO, CBS, NBC, ABC, Comedy Central, Howard Stern Entertainment. The list goes on and on.
Born in Israel, MODI moved to the United States at the age of seven. After attending college at Boston University, MODI worked as an investment banker and had no plans to become a stand-up comedian until one open mic night changed everything.
MODI has appeared in several feature films and played leading roles in two: Waiting for Woody Allen, which won the LA Film Festival, and Stand Up, a feature-length film. According to Variety, MODI delivers a “naturally funny performance with a tremendous amount of energy on screen.”
A regular performer at the New York and Los Angeles comedy clubs, MODI also headlines around the country and across the globe. He has toured in the United Kingdom, Holland, and Israel and performs in comedy festivals and special venues, including Montreal’s Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
Most recently, you've been seeing him trending on your social media feeds because he's been developing these incredible bits, which we delve into and learn about how he has developed these characters. I also get a chance to learn more about the man behind the laughs. And believe me, he's a real mensch!
I had a blast interviewing him, conversing with him, and getting to know Modi on a deeper level. So enjoy this incredible podcast with the one only Modi.

Kristen Schwartz, is an author, entrepreneur, attuned empathic healer, and trauma-informed mental health professional. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. In 2016 fueled by passion and recognizing the need for Empaths and Highly Sensitive People to realize their potential, Kristen became the founder of Realized Empath. Within this wellness community, Empaths unite for support, inspiration, and healing.
The Healed Empath is essential reading for empaths and caring, sensitive people who are looking for a self-compassionate path to well-being. Kristen Schwartz presents a nuanced perspective by shining a light on how trauma can sometimes create or shape the empath experience. She addresses challenging issues for most empaths, such as boundaries and self-care, and offers a transformative manual for healing.
Kristen is an incredible human being who has a whole lot of experience around highly sensitive people and empaths. I just recently found that I'm an empath. In my discussion, Kristen helps me navigate these feelings. I've always realized I've had a lot of sensitivity around people and energy and taking on people's energy and not knowing how to navigate that all, and Kristen give me many tips in that sphere on this podcast, as well as learned a whole lot about trauma, healing, all that good stuff. I know you're going to enjoy this podcast with her. So sit back, relax, go for a run or however, you enjoy podcasts.
