To start the show, Reid and Jay welcome in TSN's Davis Sanchez to talk CFL & NFL, highlighting the QB situation in Edmonton and the Jayden Daniels of the Commanders. He also shares some stories from his time playing the game as well.
Reid and Jay then get into a conversation about phone guests with Reid sharing some caller stories during his time on the radio.

In the final hour, Reid and Jay dissect the Oilers preseason thus far, highlighting some of the big players and upcoming skaters in the depth chart of the orange and blue. Reid gives his thoughts on Vasily Podkolzin comparing him to Klim Kostin, chopping up how he might help the Oilers.
Chris Johnston of TSN and The Athletic to talk about the upcoming NHL season and some of the big storylines around the teams during this preseason. Johnston also talks about the new series surrounding the NHL and what the NHL might think that they could accomplish from the program.

Jay and Reid then wind down the show recapping what happened during their three hour while looking ahead to some of the action they previewed.

Heading into hour two, Wilkins and Milne share their thoughts on MBT getting the start for the Elks this upcoming Friday against the Bombers. They get into a big discussion breaking down why they think the Elks made the choice they did while also sharing their opinion on the situation.
Jed Roberts calls in to give his two sense on the Elks and the situation regarding the starting QB. Roberts also shares some stories from his playing days.
After his time on the show, Reid and Jay talk about Evander Kane and how he is out 5-6 months and what that means. They then start talking about how there's less players in the NHL who can score and check at the same time.

In the third hour, Reid shares a clip of Connor McDavid that was shown in the trailer for the upcoming show, FACEOFF: Inside the NHL which showed McDavid getting riled up during the Stanley Cup Final this previous season against the Panthers.
