Paul is a first gen Cowboy, who entered the scene a little later in life.. but is living the dream none the less! McSorely recently stepped down as Team Roping Director for the RAO. He felt he's was continuously putting out ongoing fires vs making real change. Although he has stepped down, Paul wants to remain an active part of the community and plans to continue competing. It was obvious that he had not lost his love for the sport or industry.
Paul has a mind for business, while holding that passion we all have for this life style. During the episode we exchange perspectives and trade ideas back and forth on the current roping world in Ontario, and where we would like to see it go (just like the rest of the industry). We agreed, that if we all work together, continue having ongoing communication, pursuing these open minded conversations, and keep trying new things, the pieces will fall into place and things will change for the better. I truly believe there is a way to keep everyone happy, and cater to every level and component of this discipline! At the end of the day, we all love this sport and want to see it flourish here in Ontario!
Hope to see everyone is the arena soon!
Keep spreading the good word friends, cheers.

This Thursday we are getting to hear the story from the other side of the camera..our very own (as she likes to say) fly on the wall, who catches it all! Emily Gethke is one talented gal! She has snapped shots of everyone from amateurs to pros. We loved hearing about some of the incredible opportunities she's had, and the cowboy culture she got to experience with them! We talked club shows, Rodeo, Trainers, and everything in between! Such a unique insight to share!
Enjoy friends, and remember.. keep spreading that good word! Cheers.

Things got a little rowdy this week! (caution - some explicit language used)
We sat down virtually and chatted all things Rodeo and PBR with Dusty McMullen. He really sheds some insight on the amazing community that comes with Rodeo life; stating, "we're not against each other.. yes you can win over each other, but you're not against one another. You're against the clock and / or the animal. There's no other sport like that". He also encourages new comers by saying "You gotta dig deep.. you have to find what no one else has..but once you get there.. nothing can beat that feeling.. when the crowd goes wild, when you win.. you can’t beat it”. We dicussed cowboy culture in Ontario vs Quebec and some goals / plans Dusty has for the not so distant future! Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and keep spreading the good word friends. -
The dream continues! We could not have asked for a more amazing second guest! Brad is a second generation cowboy who has been there, done that, and continues to be a huge part of our equine community and industry here in Ontario! From inside the arena to helping out behind the scenes; Brad shares the same vision we do, and is determined to help cowboy culture grow here in Ontario! (or bring it back to its glory days, however you want to look at it). We can't wait to talk to Brad again soon!

His dad was the king.. does that make him the prince? In our second episode we sit down with Bruce, Roy's eldest son. We talk a bit about his late father, the history of Ontario's cowboy culture, and what we hope for it to be again! The ideas are flying and the stories are incredible. We wanted to start from the beginning, and we feel this was the best guest to do just that! We hope to have the whole family on at a later date, to really discuss Roys legacy. Thank you again Bruce! Enjoy friends, cheers.
