As exclusively revealed by the Irish Independent, Rory Gallagher has commenced legal proceedings against the GAA and its president Jarlath Burns. This follows Burns' intervention in the former Derry football manager's appointment as a coach to the Naas senior football team earlier this year. Gallagher is suing the Association for malicious falsehood and breach of contract, and proceedings have been served on the GAA's solicitors by Gallagher's own legal representatives. Our GAA correspondent Colm Keys, who covered this story alongside Irish Independent colleague Shane Phelan, joins Joe to talk us through the developments.
