In the launch of his new series titled "Spirit Filled Assembly", Pastor Tolu Ayeni made a powerful start by defining what it truly means to be a spirit-filled assembly and what characterizes such a gathering. In a spirit-filled assembly, there is a vibrant manifestation of utterance, tongues, interpretation, prophecy, and the full display of spiritual gifts. It is a church that lacks no gift — where every member operates freely and effectively in the gifts of God. Each person plays a role, contributing their unique part. We are also encouraged to earnestly desire these gifts, to passionately pursue the manifestations of God's Spirit. This pursuit should be ongoing — a continuous journey of longing for more of God. When we are filled, there will be evident signs and manifestations to show for it.

As a follow-up to the last message in the Praying Always series, Pastor Tolu Ayeni shared a powerful word titled "Give Us Our Daily Bread." He reminded us that prayer isn’t just about bringing our needs to God, but about centering our hearts on Him and His will for our lives. It’s about putting God’s priorities first—not just our own. When we focus on doing the Father’s work, He takes care of what we need in return.

Here, we learned that praying in tongues helps us pray better, stay in line with God’s will, and even pray about things we wouldn’t normally think of. It also helps us intercede for others, especially when we don’t know exactly what they need—because the Spirit does.

Following up on the last message in the 'Praying Always' series, Pastor Tolu Ayeni shared a powerful word titled 'Thy Kingdom Come'. He talked about how prayer isn't just about asking for what we need, but about letting the Holy Spirit guide us to pray what’s on God’s heart. It’s about making sure His will comes first in our lives — not just ours. Real prayer lines up with what He wants, not just what we want.

Continuing our Praying Always series, Pastor Tolu Ayeni spoke about praying in the Spirit, which is such an important part of our prayer life. He encouraged us to pray more in tongues—because that’s really what it means to pray in the Spirit. When we do that, we’re letting God’s Spirit in us guide our prayers. We learned that praying in tongues helps us pray better, stay in line with God’s will, and even pray about things we wouldn’t normally think of. It also helps us intercede for others, especially when we don’t know exactly what they need—because the Spirit does.

Pastor Tolu Ayeni delivered a powerful sermon in our "Praying Always" series. He emphasized that prayer is more than a habit—it's ongoing communication between us and God. The way we pray is influenced by who God is to us, and each type of prayer follows its own principles. For prayer to be effective, it must align with God’s character, His Word, and His ways. Pastor Tolu reminded us that to be people of prayer, we must first be people of the Word. Prayer is something we learn, and it starts with approaching God as our Father—that’s the true foundation of prayer.

Continuing in the new series titled "Praying Always," Pastor Tolu Ayeni highlighted the vital role of spending significant time in prayer. He emphasized that the more we pray, the more spiritually alert we become, enabling us to see and discern more clearly. Without prayer and vigilance, we risk missing what God is communicating. There is still much that God wants to reveal—things to see, hear, and understand. God is inviting us into deeper, more consistent prayer. At times, prayer demands perseverance; we must be willing to pray persistently until we see results. Some prayers take weeks or even months to fully pray through. We are called to keep praying until something changes. Ultimately, the strength and boldness we exhibit in prayer are deeply rooted in the consistency of our prayer life.

Building on the first sermon on Grace & Glory, Pastor Tolu Ayeni went on to remind us of our identity in Christ and the blessings that come with it. He emphasized that we belong to God and should view ourselves through the lens of Christ—recognizing that we are now one with Him. This understanding should transform the way we think and how we see life.
