Day 12 of 12 missing person episodes in December.
On the 13th of July 2000, Iwona Kaminska travelled to her job in Hammersmith, London from her home in Wandsworth. She had only arrived in the UK 4 days earlier from her home country of Poland however she was not seen on CCTV again. Iwona disappeared that day and has not been seen since. Her family want answers as to what happened to her that day nearly 25 years later.

On the 9th of September 2017, 72 year old Cathryn Holdsworth went to her local Tesco supermarket in Halifax town centre. She got the bus home as usual. 10 days later her neighbour entered her home and found that she hadn't been there for several days and her walking frame was left behind. She hasn't been seen since.

On the 24th of September 1996, a man checked in to the Jolly Roger guest house in Margate in Kent. He gave his name and only checked in with a carrier bag and no other luggage. He was later found deceased in the room 3 days later. Authorities still do not know who he is.

On the 28th of April 2003, Andrew Dill got off a train at Birmingham New Street. A witness spotted him on the Soho Road area of the city next day and he continued to text his family for just under a month before he went missing. Were these texts even sent from Andrew at all? On the afternoon of Saturday January the 24th 1998, 30 year old James Harmon left his girlfriend's home in Romford in Essex to go and see a friend. He never returned and his car was later found abandoned. Police now believe that James' disappearance was a murder.

In March 2024, a woman's body was recovered from the River Mersey close to Chorlton Water Park in South Manchester. This woman had no identifying belongings on her and Greater Manchester Police have since created a facial image reconstruction to help identify her.

On the 11th January 1971, 52 year old James Keltie was found in the garage of his home. He had been bound, gagged and beaten in what officers believed was a robbery gone wrong. Despite a large investigation, his murder remains unsolved over 50 years later.

On the 21st of November 2001, 50 year old Brian Hardwick was found dead in the garage in Huddersfield where he had worked for 23 years. On December the 20th 1986, 31 year old Nigel Bostock was found in his home. He had been strangled and stabbed in his own bathtub. On the 16th of June 1980, 14 year old Patsy Morris left Feltham Comprehensive school in West London and disappeared. Her family and police searched for her and 2 days later she was found murdered on Hounslow Heath. Despite possible connections to serial killers and many enquiries it still remains unsolved.

On December 3rd 1981, 44 year old Douglas Mortimer failed to turn up to meet his friends at his local social club in a suburb in Birmingham. His family haven't seen him since and there has been no trace of him or his car in the years that have passed. This is now one of the longest running missing person cases that West Midlands Police have.
