Yes, I have been off the airwaves for awhile, but I haven't been lazy! I've been working on my channel and promotion, as well as joining forums etc, doing a tonne of reading and meeting some actual honest to gosh astrobiologists! It's been a lot of fun, but I intend to get back into these podcasts. So, I'll talk to you soon!

Welcome to the Universe in Plain Human. In this episode I announce a death in the family, introduce some smart dudes from my facebook group as we discussed the terraforming of Mars, and relay general astrobiology news, as well as the audio of one of my favourite youtube episodes.

Hi all. It's been a while, I admit. I haven't been lazy, there's just been some personal stuff going on. I chat about progress in my facebook group, looking for astrobiologists to bug and include a long chat with my good friend Fedor Steeman of the GREAT youtube channel Phrenomythic. I highly recommend his alien analysis series.

Hello there! A plain human look at some murky goodness. Do things lurk in the atmosphere of Venus? It seems impossible, right? What about Titan? Take yourself on a VR tour of this mysterious moon, using some old skool VR- your imagination!

NOTE: This podcast was up yesterday, however I took it down on noticing that a section of audio had mysteriously disappeared. Here is a new iteration of the same show some of you may have already listened too, with a bit of extra chatter!
Today, we talk metal: lots of it, visiting the future once again and exploring the incredible metal asteroid 16 Psyche from the perspective of a bored security guard. I couldn't imagine anything I'd rather do than walk on the exposed core of a long dead protoplanet!

Welcome back! In this episode I chat about an alien stowaway in our solar system, as well as travel forward to spend some time in the unlucky shoes of a space cop patrolling the space around Ceres. Why? To talk a little about how death might work in space!
-
Life didn't start out complex. I give an overview of Ribozymes, some tricky little bits of RNA that may be the grand parents of everything. Really!
-
Water is everywhere it seems. I talk about that. Wheres the most unlikely place to find water do you think? Also, some news from NASA'S TESS mission?
-
Visit Phobos. It's not boring! Be a Martian moon! Watch a real Mars rise! Enjoy some really amazing views! Sold? Is this a podcast or a travel brochure?
-
We wouldn't explore the stars alone, but could the lifeforms that accompany us make it if we disappeared? The first of a series of chats on this topic...
-
I never made it in the science world, but I've reached people who would otherwise have been forgotten.. That's a big deal.
-
A brief look at some exciting missions exploring the babies of the solar system, plus Led Zeppelin!

I discuss planetary engineering taken to its logical extreme. A big job to be sure, but surely possible. A generational project? Find me on my blog and explore my indulgent ranting on youtube, facebook and other social media black holes.
