We have Jordan Markely, one of Kendal and Keaton's former supervisors, on the podcast this week. Jordan is a wildlife manager in West Virginia, and has also worked in Ohio and Texas doing various land management jobs. He was a lot of fun to talk with and had a lot of great knowledge in this profession.

As we continue our series, our host, Austin, actually turned the reigns of hosting over to Kendal for this episode and gets put in the hot seat. He gets to talk about his experience as a content creator (filmmaking, photography, etc.) within the outdoor industry and experience with marketing and communications. He has a very diverse range of experience and stories, so we hope you enjoy.

Kendal has a background of both working in land management and real estate. He talks about how his land management skills help out his real estate side as he focuses his energy in land sales. He's a very knowledgeable and hard working individual and shares some valuable knowledge.

Keaton joins us this week as we continue our series of working in the outdoor industry. Keaton's career field is within land management and currently works with Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks, and Tourism. He has had some pretty neat experiences with his various jobs and has developed some great insight into his profession.

We're continuing our series this week with another great special guest, Colin O'Donnell. Colin is a biologist and focuses heavily on marine biology. He was a joy to have on the show. If you're someone who is interested in following a career in biology or getting into the field, I hope you can learn something new or feel inspired.

We continue our series this week with another individual with experience as a guide. Our friend Hallie Bontrager spent a couple summers in Colorado as an excursions counselor for a Christian summer camp. The more she told us about her job, the more jealous we got. Then in the summer of 2021 she gets to go be a sea kayaking guide in Alaska. Pretty epic stuff. Enjoy!!

This is the first episode of our brand new series focusing on working within the outdoor industry. For this first episode we are joined by a very special guest, Jimmy Fisher. Jimmy is a hunting guide with Ranch Country Waterfowl, a 10,000 acre hunting outfitter in South East Kansas. He gives us some insight into the lifestyle of a waterfowl hunting guide. It's a fun and very educational episode.
