Synopsis:
Ros asks her best friend Marge to meet for a coffee and catch up. Ros is not her usual self. Shethinks her husband Paul is having an affair. So who best to turn to for advice other than her mosttrusted friend Marge who has been through a similar experience herself.

Synopsis:
Mandy is sitting in a laundromat waiting on her clothes. She is reading a tabloid magazine when Jim enters. Jim gets upset when he realizes he forgot his detergent. The two strike up a conversation, which involves a discussion about Jim's fiancée, who lives in Alaska and has been milking him for money for the past eleven years. The two start to bond, which might be leading to a new romance as they sit and wait for their clothes to get clean.

Today we have a piece by Queer Jewish playwright Sam Heyman (https://newplayexchange.org/users/68885/sam-heyman) who first featured on Theatrical Shenanigans on The Panel Presents back in October 2023 (https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/the-panel-presents-episode-4-susan-sam-angela-dc/) before being featured as a playwright almost a year later in our third Mini shenanigans series with his short piece Sensories (https://newplayexchange.org/script/2050314/sensories & https://theatricalshenanigans.podbean.com/e/mini-shenanigans-episode-6-sensories/).
He then went on to provide one of the pieces that made up our 2nd year anniversary special with “The Rakeoning” (https://TheatricalShenanigans.podbean.com/e/two-year-anniversary-special/?token=593a5166587c9a36ae1a0c1e9ae570fd).
Sam’s play today is titled “To Necessary Ends” (https://newplayexchange.org/script/2045041/to-necessary-ends) and was actually written as part of a play a day challenge in February 2023.
Synopsis:
William Ranson is the CEO of a former Fortune 500 company. His assistant, Jarvis, has some unfortunate news to deliver, and it's not related to his company's stock price.
