My name is Jamie Lidell and I'm gonna delve into the heady magic of creating music in a modern studio, probe the depths of production, get tech crazy with mixing tricks, studio skills and equipment. I'll be joined by fellow musicians, engineers and all-round audiophiles who kindly share their tips, stories and ingenious insight from the bizarre world of music production. I shall answer questions and seek knowledge from other music makers on a quest to discover how to make things sound RIGHT. I will also share some studio trickery on each episode as I explore some of my favourite innovations in music tech and my creations... outpourings from the weirdo brain! Welcome to a place for musicians, producers and listeners alike as we "cheers" our love of everything audio.

Practical and proven tips, ideas and advice for private music teachers. Listen in to improve your instrumental or vocal music studio business and find that oh-so-elusive feeling of balance in your life.
Welcome to The Vibrant Music Teaching Podcast! This is the show for you if you’re an instrumental or vocal music teacher that wants friendly, creative and accessible advice.
I’m your host Nicola Cantan. My membership site, Vibrant Music Teaching, helps teachers all over the world to include more games and creativity in their lessons, so that their students giggle their way through music theory and make faster progress. I also run a popular blog, Colourful Keys, where we write about creative ideas and teaching strategies and an interview show, Teaching Studio Stories.
Every Monday I provide bite-sized bursts of inspiration and ideas for instrumental and vocal music teachers. The episodes are usually between 10 and 20 minutes – the perfect length of time to put away some of the music books scattered all over your studio and hide the rest of them in the piano bench.
Listen to a few episodes and hit the subscribe button. When you come across an episode you love, make sure to tell your teacher-friends they can get it for free in any audio app that supports podcasts.

Home recording and independent music makers often struggle to achieve the sound and/or career goals that they are pursuing. It's challenging to achieve "success" without mentors or guidance. For show host/creator, Samori Coles, the initial years in the music industry were overwhelming and difficult. Nevertheless, he knew that his 9 to 5 job as a financial analyst, and graduation from business school, didn't ignite his passion like creating and recording new music. Over the past twenty years, the early frustrations and defeats transformed into a successful commercial recording studio, opening an audio engineering and music production school that has trained hundreds of Millenials, Gen Xers and Gen Zers, and the launch of HomeStudioTutor.com which offers free training, premium online courses, and one-on-one coaching/mentorship. This podcast follows the stories and journeys of those who had dreams of pursuing careers as independent music creators, and ultimately bet on themselves to realize full-time careers doing what they love.

What is an invisible Icon? This is a person that if not for their borderline genius, or tireless work, or magnetic presence the most well-known artists on the planet would not be known as such. This series sets out to unblur the obscurity behind one such invisible Icon named Tom Wilson.
