Mix description:Premiere for a new genre.. funky house, london style!-I got inspired to make this mix after a visit to London and the famous night club 'FIRE' back in 2006.In this first mix I want to take you back in time, and bring back those memorable club nights!In the coming sessions, I will progress into more of today's funky house, but in the same london style! ;)Enjoy! /DJ RiverREVIEW: I've just finished listening to all the songs from the FreshAir Session Vol. 1 on youtube individually. Before you had mixed them that is. :) I did this to get a real sense of appreciation for all your work you put into your mixes. You transform all these songs into something else entirely, purely in a positive and improved way. While the originals sound good, the way you mix, mingle, and create these mixes makes them completely unique. REVIEW: Dont expect to jump around the room to this music, dont expect constant, pumping baselines. What you get in DJ Rivers Liquid Nonsense Vol. 1 is a cruisy glide through the spectral realm of Ambient & Psychill. It's relaxing at times, with deep throbs sounding like heartbeats underneath chime-like piano samples; at other places it is like a cold and foreign world.Liquid Nonsense Vol. 1 wont give you the same old tunes you may expect from DJ River, but it will hopefully excite and intrigue you with the fore-taste of Rivers new adventure into a refreshing genre of electronic music. /Iain, 25 (New Zealand)
