We are taking a break from our regular show to make an announcement and own up to our shortcomings as voices in the wine industry. This is an unreserved apology to people who we have hurt and offended with our conduct and content in the past. It is not the standard to which we are trying to set ourselves. As people who are trying to be agents of change in an industry that is ripe for abuse we need to do better.
That being said - We may say something offensive in the future - We cannot get better unless people tell us we're falling short. We fully recognize that people have tried to tell us we have been failing in the past through social media, in the reviews of this show - and with the occasional phone call. We weren't listening - but we are going to try harder to listen now.

Welcome to part 3 of 3 of Two Guys Talking Tequila mini series. Gone are the days of a shot glass - a dash of salt & wedge of lime We learned that really good tequila is not a drink for shots – it's a spirit to be savoured on the rocks, or in a margarita bringing both simple and sophisticated flavours. As we heard last episode, Tequila is woven into the fabric of Mexico, and in this episode, we learn not only about its present, but also the future of tequila; it's an eye-opening conversation that might change the way you see a piece of Mexican heritage on the shelf of your local liquor store.

This week we're doing things a little different; we're not Two Guys Talking Wine - we're Two Guys Talking Tequila ... in Mexico. We got the opportunity to travel together and visit with the company that creates Los Arangos Reposado Tequila. We learned so much that we created this as a three-part mini docu-series: in this episode, we find out about the process of making tequila, what goes into it, how long it takes, and we even taste a few things (though maybe we shouldn't have) along the way. Time to get on the plane and head to Guanajuato, Mexico to kick things off.

One of André's favourite stories in the wine world is the history behind the fabled Grange from Penfolds. So when the guys had an opportunity to interview the winemaker from Penfold's they jumped at the chance. Andrew Baldwin is part of the senior winemaking team - and he joins the guys to discuss what's going on in Australia ... and as it turns our the United States, and France.
The Penfolds wines are currently in special offer with the LCBO at https://www.vintagesshoponline.com/vintages/Public/OrderProgramProducts.aspx?programId=1072
