In this episode, we’re diving deep with Manon Lagrève who I got the pleasure to know & work with over 10 years ago! You might know her from her time on the Great British Bake Off as she got into the quarter finals in 2018, or maybe through her beautiful recipes she shares on social media or maybe even from her cookbooks!
Manon shares her inspiring journey from her small French hometown to the bustling streets of London, where she took a leap of faith, left her career in IT, and eventually found herself in the spotlight of Bake Off. She opens up about the highs and lows of social media, balancing motherhood and work, embracing positivity in a sometimes negative world, and the beautiful blend of French and British culture that defines her work and her family life.
If you’re navigating transitions, this episode will remind you to trust the process and keep an open heart to what’s meant for you. Tune in to feel inspired, laugh along, and soak in some genuine wisdom.
Manon was so kind and generous with her time and it was truly an honor to have her on the show!

Hi My loves - this week's episode is a vulnerable and beautiful one. When I was a Freshman in high school at Portage Northern (whilst we lived in Kalamazoo, Michigan), I had a friend, who was in the grade above, she was my double's tennis partner the first year I was on the tennis team and the kindest soul. There was an instant connection and her passing broke so many of our hearts. I felt compelled to tell her story and her Mom was so gracious to give me the time to do so.
"Kristina wrote in a 7th grade journal entry: “The only reason I even bother to tell my sad sob story is that someday the public might know what a teenage girl goes through. So as you know nice guys finish last….well it might as well be nice girls finish last, too”. Tragic as our story is to tell and live each day….I feel that there are things to be learned from Kristina’s story.
–Written in the hopes that no one else might ever have to awaken to a such a blustery snowy morning as we did." By Kristina's Mom: Michelle.
To read more about Kristina's story, here is her Mom: Michelle's blog.

Hi my loves <3 I can't believe it's been SO long since I did a solo episode. This one is a mix of different things: a life update, some of my key learnings about The Embody Lab Trauma Healing Somatic event I went to in San Diego and the different things that were so eye opening that I learned there, I also talk about the juxtaposition of healing the body between: Oprah's talk on abc about Ozempic & the obesity epidemic and getting to the root cause of healing our emotions that stay stuck in our bodies through somatic healing. I also talk about the Retreat to Reconnect which was just so magical and I can't wait to announce new dates very soon!
If you want to help the podcast grow, please help us by subscribing or following and adding a rating and review. It helps more people like you find the show! I'm so grateful for you!
