In Part 5 Kelly interviews Jossana who was randomly punched by a woman in an unprovoked attack at Luna Park in Coney Island, Brooklyn during the summer of 2023. She now suffers from seizures as a result of the assault. Jossana’s case is yet another example of the NYPD's failure to take action, with no investigation conducted. Jossana made six 911 calls to report her assault and to alert authorities that her attacker was still in the park. Despite her repeated pleas, the police never arrived, and justice remains elusive in her case.

She suffered a severe eye injury as a result of the attack. Kelly interviews Melinda who was assaulted by a random man in Oakland, California in 2021. She recounts her horrifying experience while also trying to make sense of these unprovoked, random attacks.

In Part 2 Kelly interviews Allyson who was assaulted by a mentally ill woman on NYC streets in September 2021. The NYPD did not investigate. Police told her they don’t investigate misdemeanor harassment cases. This is a common theme being heard from victims.

In Part 1 Kelly dives deep into the contentious debate surrounding New York's bail reform laws and their potential connection to the alarming increase in assaults against women. As assaults rise, many are questioning whether these reforms are contributing to the problem by allowing repeat offenders back on the streets, often with little to no accountability.
Kelly also interviews a courageous survivor of a brutal street assault. In January 2023, on her way to school one morning, 16-year-old Calista was viciously attacked by a man who had been arrested 30 times prior for similar crimes. Despite his long history of violence, he was repeatedly allowed back on the streets. Calista shares the details of her harrowing experience, from the moment of the attack to the aftermath, where she discovered the shocking criminal record of her assailant.
