Join us as we celebrate the Fall 2024 Discipleship Training School (DTS) Graduation! This incredible time was filled with worship, testimonies, powerful outreach stories, and prayer as we honored our students who completed their journey of knowing God and making Him known.This year, we had a small but mighty crew of five studentsâthree went to Tanzania, and two stayed in the United States. "Every single prophet brings hope. Even in the midst of destruction, thatâs never the final message. In the heart of every prophetic word, thereâs always a chance for restoration. Even in Jeremiah, known as the 'weeping prophet,' his grief reflects Godâs heart for His people, but even there, thereâs always hopeâalways a way back to God."
Daniel highlights how even the most severe prophetic messages, like those from Jeremiah, are always balanced with the invitation of restoration and redemptionâshowing that destruction is never the last word in Godâs story.

This weekâs episode features Ange Miracle, a YWAM Alumni and a speaker who staffed the very first DBS in Kona in September 2012. She takes us through the early prophets, exploring their role in calling Israel back to faithfulness. Out of the 16 biblical prophets, these early messengers played a critical role in both warning and restoring Godâs people.
"The prophets were covenant enforcement mediators. They werenât just proclaiming destructionâthey always carried a message of hope. Their words reminded the people of Godâs love, His purpose, and His promise of redemption."
Ange unpacks how the prophets werenât just voices of judgment but messengers of Godâs deep love and commitment to His people. Their role was to call Israel back to the covenant and offer assurance of Godâs restoration even in the midst of rebellion.

This weekâs episode features Therese Vannoy, as she unpacks the history of the Kings of Israel and Judahâwhich rulers followed Yahweh and which turned to the gods of the land. She begins by breaking down 1 Chronicles, giving us essential historical context to better understand the Book of Kings.
"The Book of Kings comes alive when we understand what God was asking Israel to doâand how they didnât do it. Throughout this book, we see the tension between good and evil, the consequences of idolatry, and the hope of a coming King. The messianic promise remains, even in the midst of human failure."
Therese takes us deep into the Hebrew themes of tov (good) and ra (evil), tracing them from the Garden of Eden through Israelâs history. She also highlights a key chapter in Deuteronomy that gives us the lens to understand the rise and fall of Israelâs kings.
