Hallo ihr Lieben, ich bin Wencke Fiedler – Moderatorin, Sprecherin und Synchronschauspielerin.
In meinem Job als Radiomoderatorin bei @fluxfm quatsche ich oft mit Künstler*innen aus allen möglichen Bereichen – sei es Musik, Film, Literatur oder Theater – über neue Alben, Touren, Projekte und vieles mehr. Es geht um ihre Arbeit. Aber die wirklich spannenden Gespräche passieren meistens OFF Air, nach den Interviews, wenn die Künstlerinnen anfangen, über ihre echten Kämpfe zu sprechen. Es geht um mentale Gesundheit, persönlichen Schmerz und wie Kunst – vor allem Musik – ein Ventil ist, um mit all dem klarzukommen.
Ich finde es super wichtig, dass wir mehr über solche Themen sprechen. Denn Künstler*innen, die in ihren Werken über Ängste, Depressionen oder Panikattacken sprechen, haben diese Themen nicht einfach abgelegt, nur weil das neue Projekt draußen ist. Diese tiefgründigen Gespräche, die sie mir OFF Air anvertrauen, möchte ich jetzt mit euch teilen. Deshalb gibt’s ab sofort meinen neuen Podcast Off Air – die B-Seite der Interviews. Deep Talk, ehrliche Einblicke und ein Austausch über Themen, die uns wirklich bewegen und vielleicht auch neue Perspektiven eröffnen können.

Angefangen hatte Leonard Cohen als Schriftsteller, lange bevor er ein Weltstar der Popmusik wurde. Mit 25 schrieb er wohl ironisch, er wolle die „introvertierten Jugendlichen, Liebende in allen Stadien der Pein, enttäuschte Platoniker, Porno-Gucker, Mönche und Papsttreue“ erreichen. Er hat viel mehr erreicht – als Musiker! Denn als der Erfolg ausblieb, fing er an, zu komponieren und ging mit der Gitarre auf die Bühne. Da war er über 30. Heute zählen „Hallelujah“, „Suzanne“ und „So long, Marianne“ zu den meistgehörten und meistgecoverten Songs weltweit. Im Podcast geht es um ihn als Mönch in L.A., als Dichter auf der griechischen Insel Hydra und als Singer-Songwriter auf der Bühne auf der ganzen Welt.
