Good things comes to those who dare to try something new. Our guest Hans Jørgen has never been a one trick pony, he is just about to turn seventy years old and has a long and diverse motoring life to look back on. From reading Hot Rod magazines at a early age it all started with tuned VW bugs and Formula Vee's that lead right in to muscle car era with a small block Barracuda and building Hot Rods! Then he raced and built a track oriented Camaro for the NARS series, before starting a new racing life by building a 1300cc Ford Escort MK1 for the Historic racing series. Where he is still active to this day. This one is a long one, but trust us, it's worth it! This is a podcast with Norwegian language.

A podcast about digging, for cars, stories or information. How do we cope with the corona-19 lock down of Norway. Øystein is doing gearbox work on the 356 Porsche but why is restoring so much better than repairing? We revisit the forty-niner on behalf of a listener and get in to how to retain the fragile soul of a project car. Then we go way back in time and dig a big hole in the search for a Kübel. There is rumor of a garage in Sweden with a drag-racing Hebmüller under it! Guess who's been digging around? In the end we get in to the eternal discussion of what make us click with a car? This a podcast with Norwegian language.

Kjell Arne Løver has a long history of hot rodding American cars, and it all started when bought a Chevy Nova at sixteen, for which his mother kicked him out! He was let back in again after a few days and since then he has been on the hunt for ever bigger engines and wider tires! After countless builds he set out to build the dream hot rod in the footsteps of little John Buttera and Boyd Coddington! After a few rods projects he finally found home in the Pro Touring movement, a style that could be described as a show-standard classic American car, built to handle with the best cars out there. We're talking full custom chassis, eight-piston brakes and massive wheels with sticky tires. And a modern engine with all the drivability of a new car... whats not to like? We get in to the history of this style, the racing and talk about some of the names in the scene. This is a podcast with Norwegian language.

Whenever you discuss sheet metal talents in Norway one of the first names that come up is Robin Hermansen from Larkollen! The next sentence is usually "he used to work at Boyd Coddington". We couldn't resist talking with such a respected craftsman, and hear how this journey started! And don't worry this gets nerdy! We talk about how he developed a keen interest as a little kid in his fathers body shop, and how he ended up at Bernt Karlssons doorstep in California in 1994. From his time at Bernt's he went to the sheet metal wizard Urs Gretener and learned from one of the best. Until the day Urs picked up the phone and heard Boyd Coddington say: I want to talk with Robin! From there on we talk about legends like Roy Schmidt, Chip Foose, Kalle & Valle. We talk about the inner life of Boyd Coddington hot rods and about how you get that perfect finish. This is a podcast with Norwegian language.

Med nitidig jobbing og mye tålmodighet tar han bilene bakover i tid, uten at tilskuerne ser hva som er gjort. Hvorfor mener han det er et poeng å ikke velge den enkle veien?
