  • Welcome back to Grow Your Self! Last week I talked about the three things that you can do this year that will change everything. One of those things was to eat seasonally. At the end of that episode, I challenged you all to really try to implement these three things but I also promised that I would give you the tips and resources along the way to make that happen. So here we are. In episode three we are talking about what we can eat during the winter. I’m diving into the three categories of foods we can eat, what foods are in each category, and how to enjoy these foods all winter long! Let’s kick off the year by eating the foods that are meant to be eaten in the season we are in. Are you ready?!

  • On Episode Four of Grow Your Self, we are talking all about a food that a lot of people love, and a lot of people love to hate. Kale! I’m going to tell you some pretty cool things about kale that you may be surprised about. You’ll learn all about the origin of kale and how it was first developed, what kale and Pizza Hut have in common (yes, I did just say kale and pizza hut in the same sentence), how kale grew in popularity, where it can be grown and my tips for growing it, and finally, a showdown between two of the most popular greens, kale, and spinach. Want to know which green wins? Stay tuned until the very end!
