For this special episode, Dan is highlighting a new bill he just introduced called the "Direct Primary Care for America Act." Over the past few years the concept of direct primary care has been adopted by doctors all across America with lots of success. The idea is simple: you should have an affordable monthly fee for a primary-care doctor, without extra charges for visits and without third-party insurance. You can find a doctor near you by simply going to a website and typing in your ZIP code. This new model makes health care costs more transparent and affordable, and strengthens the doctor-patient relationship.
Joining us to discuss direct primary care are two doctors who have actually implemented the model in their practices - Dr. Glenn Davis and Dr. Geetinder Goyal - along with a returning guest and health care expert - Dr. Avik Roy.

Steven Crowder joins us to discuss the rally he's leading on Friday, October 2 outside the Michigan state capitol to pressure Gov. Gretchen Whitmer into releasing the data on the state's nursing home deaths. The COVID-19 death toll in all categories of long-term care facilities in Michigan remains a mystery. Although the state has reportedly been collecting data on coronavirus deaths since May 29, Michigan has not reported all of its data as other states have. Steven talks about this and much more, including how to grow the perfect cherry, making it in comedy, and the time he may have saved Ben Shapiro's life.

Dr. Scott Gottlieb is the former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration and resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, where he continues his work on improving public health through entrepreneurship and medical innovation and on expanding regulatory approaches to maintain patient and physician autonomy.
We talked about regulatory approaches to making prescription drugs more affordable. Learn why price controls, like those which would be implemented in the Democrats’ drug pricing bill HR3, have terrible consequences for the development and innovation of prescription drugs.

Dallas Mavericks owner and Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban joins Dan to give an inside look into what it takes to win on the long running reality show, shares his advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses trying to make it through the economic shutdown, and talks about how American manufacturing can stay competitive against countries like China and India in the coming decades.

Nancy Pelosi accused President Trump of “delay” and “denial” in the response to COVID-19. The political media was quick to repeat these talking points. But is that really the case? Were Democrats and the media sounding the alarm on coronavirus before the Trump Administration? Where did Democrats focus their attention as the White House ramped up their efforts to address coronavirus?
I answer those questions with a detailed timeline of the Trump Administration’s response to this pandemic, and compare the president’s actions with the priorities of Speaker Pelosi over the last several weeks.
