Our guest this episode is Barbara Simon. She is a Creative Director from Munich and Vice President of Eyes & Ears of Europe. Corinna & Barbara talk about creativity, family backgrounds and moving for love.
Born 1962 in St. Louis/Missouri, she studied graphic design from 1980 to 1984 and computer graphics at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York 1984 to 1986. From 1990 to 1991 she worked in the graphics department of Tele 5 in Munich, responsible for all design and on-air promotion activities. After that she was Art Director at SZM Studios, the manufacturing company and production company of ProSieben in Unterföhring, responsible for the graphic design of various stations such as ProSieben, kabel eins, DSF and H. O. T. From 1996 to 1997 she worked as Art Director for on-air and off-air promotion as well as design of the station and the programmes of kabel eins. From 1998 to 2000 she was head of on-air promotion at kabel eins. From April 2000 she was Art Director for Marketing at ProSieben Television. From 2001 to 2003, together with Imke Deigner, she headed the marketing department at ProSieben Television. From June 2003 to March 2004 she wasx Creative Director at ProSieben Television. From March 2004 to July 2005 she was Head of Creative Solutions ProSiebenSat. 1 Production, responsible for on-air promotion, on-air design, advertising and audio design. At the same time, she was Creative Director of the ProSiebenSat. 1 Media AG channels. From August 2005 to January 2007 she was Creative Director at NBC Universal Global Networks Germany. There she was responsible for marketing, on-air and off-air promotion and design of the German channels. Since then she has worked as a freelance creative director and brand consultant.

Dann is creative director with 20-plus years experience working for the media industry in Europe. He specializes in helping ambitious brand to visualize their ambition by creating dynamic brand signals and overseeing the implementation of brand strategies, brand identity development and brand communication.
He works as a creative director for both broadcasters and digital brands across Europe. Working from the company he co-founded, brand and design agency Cape Rock, his role is to lead the creative process for ambitious brands: from strategic insights to design execution for all media formats and experiences.

Our guest this episode is Nicolau Tudela. He is Art director and responsible for the area of Graphics at RTP - Rádio Television de Portugal, a Portuguese Public Broadcaster. He has a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Fine Arts in Lisbon, and a specialist master’s degree in graphic design.
Among several graphic and audiovisual works, he is the author of the idea and image for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
Furthermore, he is the curator for the rebrand of the RTP 1 and RTP2 image, where he works together with artists like Vhils, João Paulo Feliciano Ferenada Fragateiro, José Pedro Croft, Pedro Cabrita Reis, among others, as well as the musical authors Bruno Pernadas, Noiserv, and composer Anne Victorino d' Almeida as well as the Portuguese symphony orchestra.
Tudela is also a trainer in the creative area of graphics in Timor Lorosae (RTTL Rádio e Televisão de Timor Lorosae) timorese Public Broadcaster, and for TVM (Televisão Nacional de Moçambique) Mozambique Public Broadcaster 2010, 2011,2012, 2013 and 2014.
He is a visiting professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu.
He has exhibited regularly since 1982, from 1985 to 1985 on a grant holder from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.

Norbert Grundei is head of audio strategy at NDR and heads the THINKRADIO audio lab at Norddeutscher Rundfunk. In his role at THINKRADIO, he is responsible for the agile development of new digital audio products and the young audio brand N-JOY.
On his initiative, the "NDR Info Coronavirus Update" was created, which is considered the most successful podcast start in Germany and was streamed more than 60 million times in the first 6 months.Norbert was a member of the team that developed "funk" - the young content network from ARD and ZDF. Since 2016 he has been one of two NDR commissioners for funk. The NDR has developed successful YouTube and social formats such as "Kliemannsland", "WUMMS" and "STRG-f" for "funk".
Norbert has received several awards for his work, including the "Grimme Online" Award, the “Georg von Holtzbrinck Science Journalism Award” and the "Deutscher Radiopreis" (German Radio Award).

Our guest this episode is Isabelle Maselis. She is Head of Branding and Communications of Streamz, the new Flemish streaming service in Belgium. Streamz combines local fiction with international series from HBO, HBO Max and other studios. Building brands is her passion: She led the launch of Streamz in September 2020 and worked on the rebranding of Play (Telenet) in 2018 and the rebranding of Sunlight (Unilever) in 2016.
She loves working in entertainment because it is fascinating to continuously try to build synergies between earned media, like PR and Influencers, as well as paid media. Every series is unique and requires a tailored marketing approach.
She lives in Brussels with her husband and produces music in her free time.

Our guest this episode is Christer Mellstrand. He has over 20 years of experience in management, marketing and communication. He has been Marketing Director at SVT, the Swedish national public television broadcaster, since 2016. He loves a challenge and has the most fun at his job when it is hardest and most difficult. Partly because he gets to work on problems, but also because there is always a wise colleague to consult at that point.
Previously he was the Head of the inhouse Agency of MTG TV and Marketing Manager at TV 10. He has also held many offices with the City of Stockholm and served as Board Member for the Swedish Commercial Film Producers (SRP). Additionally, he has worked as an Advisor for the international non-profit organisation Reach for Change.
In 2020, he was one of four finalists for the Marketing Manager of the Year, awarded by Marknadsföreningen Stockholm.

Guest of this episode is Cécile Chavepayre! She has been the Creative Director at ARTE GEIE since 2012. She also is the CEO of Chavepayre & Chavepayre, her own company, which creates websites such as the one for Château de Ferrand. She started her career as a French Teacher but switched to the Design World in 1998 by working as a Freelance Design Editor and Producer at France 2, M6, TV5 and La Cinquième. She then worked for Canal France International (CFI), where she oversaw the brands NBC Namibia and PBS Thailand, and for France Television. Cécile Chavepayre has received many awards for her work: She was awarded with Gold at the EBU Connect and with Silver at the Promax twice. Since 2012, her work for ARTE has been awarded with 11 Gold, 9 Silver and 4 Bronze at the International Eyes & Ears Awards.
