    With the Michigan Wolverines winning the National Championship and now with the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship, is there anyone who is more entrenched in Michigan and the Detroit Lions football than Jim Brandstatter!?!? I don’t think so. Jim was the perfect Special Guest, at the perfect time! That was so much fun, 2 hours with Jim seemed like 20 minutes!

    As you all know, Jim spent 4 years at Michigan, the last 3 playing for Bo Schembechler, he was a Sophomore during that amazing 1969 season. The Bo stories are incredible. He then spent 43 years in the Michigan Broadcast booth. He also, at the same time, called games for the Detroit Lions for 31 years. His football insight is second to none.

    But did you know that he is from East Lansing, and from a proud MSU Family? I did not!

    He has written a new book, Voices of Michigan Stadium. It is available in print and audio. The audio portion is comprised on actual interviews with Michigan Legends over the years. It is a must listen for any Michigan Fan! It is available on his website: www.jimbrandstatter.com

    Jennifer has created a career and a personal life of helping others, while always being an inspirational person.

    Through the toughest challenge in her life, Jennifer thought of others who could use some help. Wow, think about that for a moment … when Jennifer was facing a breast cancer diagnosis and she thought of others who could use her support. She used her treatment as a way to show everyone that anything is possible. That is absolutely amazing. She documented her journey on social media and has already been a resource for others who have been diagnosed with cancer.

    It is a powerful interview and that you don’t want to miss!

  • Broadcasting LIVE from Daniela and Greg’s kitchen table…CT, Phil, & Rich welcomed a very Special Guest, Hall of Fame Broadcaster Ray Lane to the show!

    They spent 90 minutes with a Detroit Sports Legend and it was amazing. The fellas covered Ray’s career from where it started in Cadillac, MI and all of the stops along the way. Ray joined the Detroit Tigers TV broadcast in 1965 and he was later paired up with Detroit Tigers Hall of Famer, Ernie Harwell on the radio broadcast in 1967!

    From there, Ray worked the broadcasts for the Detroit Lions, the Detroit Pistons, the Cinncinnati Reds, Michigan & Michigan State football, and of course the Detroit Red Wings! That is where the “Razor” nickname came to life from Chris Osgood and Kris Draper! Ray also called the MSU Championship game with Magic Johnson and Larry Bird in 1979!

    It was a wonderful trip down memory lane with Hall of Fame broadcaster, Ray Lane! Tune to hear all of the details!

    Phil’s golf clubs, “Found Their Way Back”, and were “Reunited” with Phil (who was on life support) after his golf clubs were stolen from his truck over the weekend. Thanks to 2 local heroes, Jennifer Van Velzen and Jennie Main, Phil was able to hug his clubs in a loving embrace and have an emotional reunion with his prized possessions. Jennifer and Jennie were amazing and we proved that social media is a good thing, they were AWESOME!! Phil was giddy with joy thanks to Jennsters! The fellas placed a call to Jennifer and chatted with her on the experience. Wow what a cool ending to a crazy story!

    CT then recapped his weekend with Jack & Barbara Nicklaus, Scott Tolley, Daniela DeSantis (who saved the day when she jumped in to help with Barbara’s Celebrity Challenge outfit & then made the introduction to her famous Father in Law, the Razor, Ray Lane!!).

    CT crossed paths with a ton of AGSP guests and friends: Leigh LaForest, Mandy Davidson, Joel Feick, Terry Pickard, Melissa Schummer, Lisa Marie, Rachelle Alcini, Matt Bauserman, Ranae Bauserman, Dawn Toms. And CT was able to meet Dan Sullivan, Founder of HNS Sports, WOW.

  • Broadcasting LIVE from the patio at Warwick Hills Country Club …CT & Phil did the show at The Ally Challenge!

    It was a dream come true and it would not have happened if our hero John DeMarco hadn’t stepped in and made it a reality! Thank you John!

    Special Guests include: Ken Duke, winner of the Shaw’s Charity Classic on August 23rd! What a great conversation. And Congrats to Ken on his 1st win on the Champions Tour. And, Ken & Phil reminisced about the time that Phil drove Ken at a tournament and he acted like he remembered.

    Doug Milne, the PGA Champions Tour Media Official, joined us and it was fascinating! He shared a ton of great stories on his PGA career of 32 years and 1 day! And, he doesn’t need a laundromat either, tune in to find out why!
