Here is a simple, time-tested ritual for a weekly home reset, perfect for Sundays or New Moons.
What you need: Any bell that makes you feel good, a white candle, a small bowl of salt, and a lighter.
The Steps:
Ground the Space: Place the bowl of salt on your table. Salt represents Earthâstability and grounding. Place the candle next to it. Light the candle, take one deep breath, and stare at the flame. Let the mundane worries of the week fall away.
Banish the Heavy: Pick up your bell. Stand at your front door, facing inward. Ring the bell sharply three times. Say aloud: "What is heavy must leave. What is stagnant must be cleared. This threshold is closed to chaos."
The Clockwise Sweep: Walk slowly through your home in a clockwise direction (deosil, the traditional direction of growth and blessings). Move along the perimeter of each room. Ring the bell into the corners, under the bed, and inside closetsâplaces where stagnant energy loves to collect. As you ring, visualize the sound waves physically shattering any gray, heavy fog, leaving behind bright, sparkling space.
Call the Good Energy Home: Return to the center of your home. Ring the bell three final times, letting the tone ring out completely until it fades into total silence. Say aloud: "Peace is welcome here. Clarity lives here. My spirit is home."
The After-Quiet: Sit quietly for two minutes. Listen to the silence. You will notice that the silence after a bell rings feels completely different from the silence before. It feels alive, clean, and awake.

Knot Three: By knot of three, it comes to be. (The energy materializes).
Knot Four: By knot of four, this power I store. (Locking it into the thread).

This ritual marks transformation and emotional renewal.
Place the cauldron before you. Light a candle behind it so flame crowns the rim.
Write what you are releasing.
Say:
âVessel of rebirth, receive what I release.â
Burn the paper.
Pour a small amount of water over the ashes. Hear the sizzle. Feel the shift.
Hold a symbol of what you are becoming.
Whisper:
âFrom endings, beginnings. From ashes, becoming.â

The Grounding Column of Shadow & Light
A ritual to stabilize, protect, and reclaim your energy.

A black or white candle
Bowl of earth or salt
Quiet space
Sit with your feet on the floor. Place black tourmaline in your lap.
Light the candle. Say: âI call upon grounding, protection, and clarity.â

Place your hands on the tourmaline. Say: âWhat is not mine returns to earth. What is mine grows strong and steady.â
Place the stone in your pocket or bra for the next 24 hours.
This is one of the most powerful grounding spells you can do âsimple, ancient, effective. This ritual works because it:
engages the body
uses vertical grounding (earth â spine â crown)
reinforces energetic sovereignty
This is one of the oldest somatic grounding techniques, wrapped in the language of witchcraft.
And yesâit works. You are not pushing anything away. You are claiming your space.

Here are the altar directions and the ritual steps. Feel free to email me at [email protected], I would love to hear from you.
CRYSTALS, HERBS & ALTAR FOR LUNAR WORK
Crystal: Moonstone
Soft intuition. Divine feminine energy. Dreamwork. Emotional wisdom.
Moonstone is your lunar bestie.
Jasmine for dreamwork & lunar beauty. Mugwort for intuition & divination.
Water bowl
Mirror
White candle
Lunar journal
Your lunar altar is not about aesthetics. Itâs about resonance.
Moonstone doesnât sparkle for showâshe teaches emotional fluency.
Jasmine softens the veil between waking and dreaming.
Mugwort sharpens intuition like a blade wrapped in velvet.
Water remembers intention.
Mirrors reflect truth.
Candles hold focus.
Your altar doesnât need to be perfect. It needs to feel alive.
A simple but potent lunar ritual.
A glass jar or bowl
Water
A mirror
A candle
Fill the jar with water and set it under the moon. Say: âMoon above, bless this water with your light.â
Light a candle beside the bowl. This symbolizes illumination.
Hold a mirror so the moon reflects in it (or imagine it indoors). Say: âAs above, so within. I reflect your clarity.â
Use the moon water for:
cleansing tools
anointing candles
adding to ritual baths
soothing your energy
This ritual works for ANY phaseâ just adjust the intention:
New Moon: Beginning
Waxing: Growth
Full: Power
Waning: Release
This ritual works because itâs elemental.
Water receives. Fire awakens. Reflection reveals.
When you bless moon water, you are not borrowing powerâyou are syncing with a rhythm older than language.
Let the ritual be slow. Let it be felt.
Magic doesnât need spectacle. It needs presence.
