我喜欢歌曲，喜欢语言。在学习每一门语言的时候，我都尝试去听这门语言的相关歌曲，找到它们的歌词，弄懂它们的意思，不断的练习发音，争取尽可能地接近原唱。对我而言，音乐和语言是不可分割的整体，而音乐和语言的结合就是歌曲。
除了旋律以外，歌词是不可忽视的重要环节，所以这两者是我选择歌曲的标准。因此，对于我学过的每种语言，我都有用心听，用心学用心唱的歌曲。就像香水的味道一样，歌曲是和记忆联系在一起的。一首好的歌曲，日久弥香，每次听到都会唤起你彼时的真切回忆。除此之外，同一个旋律，用不同的语言来唱，尽管歌词意思相近，但是由于不同语言的发音特色也会有很大的不同。所以随着我学习的语言越来越多，我渐渐迷上了尝试用不同的语言来唱同一种旋律，所以就坚持不懈的找来同一首歌的不同语言版本来唱并乐此不疲。
开始写歌词是在用了Sing这个应用之后的事情了。在这里我特意强调了“写歌词”，而不是“翻译歌词”，是因为我坚信歌词就应该像诗一样，需要押韵需要意境，这是简单的“翻译”做不到的。Sing是一个非常好的卡拉OK应用，跟国内的唱吧和全民K歌类似，但是据我自己的经验，比它们的功能要好很多，而且Sing是全球性的，更符合我“大撒把”唱多语言歌曲的癖好。这里收录了我自己写的歌词，我的独唱以及我和朋友的合唱。
