Episode 148: The Man Who Killed Halloween
Halloween 1974 started as it always had for the O’Bryan family in Deer Park, TX; Timothy (age 8) and Elizabeth (age 5) were eagerly awaiting Trick-or-Treating. Ronald took his two children to a nearby neighborhood along with a friend and his children so the kids could Trick-or-Treat together. That evening, when the O’Bryans returned home, the children were each allowed a piece of candy before bed. After eating his, Timothy became violently ill. How did this seemingly healthy 8-year-old become deathly ill in a matter of hours?
(TW: child death)
