I won't sugar coat it, managing a home and family with ADHD is HARD 🤹♀️ But there are a few tricks I've picked up in the last few years that enable me to play to my strengths and have made all the difference. So this week has been a sticky one for me, podcast wise. If you listened to last week's episode you will know why. But in a nutshell, I am away from home, with no quiet space to record in and no real technical set up even if I did 😭. So rather than miss a week/put out something I don't feel proud of, I thought I would look back through the past 60 or so episodes since ADHDFest's inception and put 5 of my favourite snippets all here for you in one handy dandy episode.
Yes, it's always better to get an in depth view with a full episode on each topic but let's face it, with ADHD, we don't always have the patience to sit through 5 full episodes 😂! A summary of 5 in 1 is so much better than none.

School holidays, an emergency situation and FOUR big family occasions in ONE week has knocked me well and truly on my a**e this week 😮💨. Feeling behind on every level and regular ADHD overwhelm has given me a huge spike of anxiety so I thought...."hey, why don't we figure it out together on the podcast!".

This week's episode covers a topic very close to my heart ❤️. It is the area I am most proud of and have made the most progress in since my diagnosis. Cultivating and creating deep, supportive relationships. Studies have show there are a wealth of ADHD specific benefits associated with supportive social connections, including better overall health, a stronger immune system, improved academic or career performance, and higher life satisfaction 🙌✨
