    Reflect on the questions posed in the book. Here are some summarised memory joggers:What preconceived ideas do you have about laundry?Does laundry have to be folded? Put away?Can you hang just some things up and leave the rest in a basket or drawer and still be functional?Can you buy anti wrinkle clothes to avoid ironing etc?Huge loads or small everyday? (to suit you)Would you like fewer clothes and less to wash?Can you afford/ would you like to outsource this task?Do one small laundry task today.

    Choose 3 tasks you have been putting offCome up with FUNCTIONAL benefits of taking action on each of themReflect how that makes the task simpler e.g. only need to clean shower shelves rather than a deep scrub of everythingTake one small action toward each task OR 3 small actions on one. Repeat this step tomorrow.

    Day Thirteen and Fourteen Homework:

    Make a list of your regular responsibilities and tasks (what you are currently trying to juggle)Split them up into two categories: glass balls - that cannot be dropped without huge negative impact to your life OR plastic balls: that you don't want to drop but can be picked up again at another time without too much damage to your world as a whole.Choose what to delegate/drop right away and what is fine to juggle when you're in a good place but can be dropped when in survival mode.

    Make a plan of "workarounds" for when you're not feeling up to your usual care tasks e.g. paper plates, a local laundry service, ready meals, frozen meals. Put it somewhere it's easy to find when you need it.

    Get your inner bully in check for the momentUse 2 toilet wands https://amzn.to/3Q8lYk1 - 1 to clean the toilet and one to clean the shower, bath and sink. (alternatives: dish brush/wand, toilet brush, mop with changeable head)Use windex or white vinegar with a microfibre cloth or paper towels to clean the counter tops, shower door and mirror.Optional: sweep or vacuum the floor.

    Day Seven Homework:

    Get your inner bully in check for the momentTackle trash only, putting it all into a big bin/trash bag as you go. Put the bag by the door ready to go (don't take it out)Dishes! Gather all of your dirty cups and dishes and put them all in the sink or on the counter in one spot (don't wash them)Laundry. Get a big wash basket and put all dirty clothes into it before putting it next to your trash (don't do laundry yet)Choose one small area at a time to now tidy. Put things back in their place if they have one and things that don't have a place in one big pile. Repeat in another small area and so on.Go through the pile of things that don't have a place and either find a place for them or throw them away if you can.Now its time to take out the trash, do your laundry and option to do dishes.

    Day Six Homework:

    Find a photo of yourself as a child and put it somewhere you will see it often (fridge, screensaver etc)Look at the photo when a self criticism pops into your head, would you say it to that child?How might you approach the situation and speak to that child in a more compassionate and understanding way?Tell them "I see you, I am going to take care of you and you are worthy of love"Optional: write a letter to that younger self and tell them everything you needed to hear at the time.

    Refer back to your day 3 homework: messages you received and from whoThink about when you tell yourself you ARE succeeding. What Needs to happen? Why does it make you feel a success? Is the reasoning functional or moral?Flip the negative beliefs about care tasks to gratitude or compassionate statements. List out 10 negatives and then 10 gratitude/compassionate to counteract the negative.

    Choose a care task you would like to start but are putting offThink about "letting yourself" get a little of it done (with full permission to start)Optional 5 deep breaths and happy music to start movementCount Down from 5 to 1 then MOVESet a Timer for 10 minutes and get going on your care taskWhen the timer ends, you choose - stop or carry on (No Judgement either way!)Optional: This week play a happy song during happy times only, then play it next week during a usually annoying care task for the same dopamine hit

    Reflect / journal on messages you received from those closes to you about care tasks. Who’s voice do you hear from your inner criticAre those messages true or limiting beliefs? If someone said them about a friend going through a hard time, how would you defend them? Would you think it was fair to criticise? Argue the defence case for your friend.How would it feel to be compassionate + kind to yourself in that way?

    Day Two:

    Think about the statement “care tasks are morally neutral”? Does it ring true or seem ridiculous, or something in between?If it is triggering? Why? What are the feelings coming to the surface?Ask yourself where those thoughts and feelings may have come from?Stay open minded and keep coming back to the podcast to experiment with those feelings and see if they change by the end of the book.Don’t worry, there are more practical tips for tackling household/hygiene task the further we get into the book. We just need to start with mindset in order for the rest to “take”

    Choose whether to journal (can be good to come back and see where you were at a later date) or just think about the following:

    What is your starting point (where you are now) both physically and mentally.Ask yourself: “Do I use shame as motivation?” If so ask “how well has this worked for me?”Reflect on what resonated/stood out for you from Chapter One
