(3:05) I was making all kinds of claims, but I found a lot of frustration in that that I wasnât willing to admit. When something wasnât working Iâd turn it on, and judge myself more poorly because what I assumed was the truth wasnât. (7:15) Continue to look and hear with your eyes and ears, find whatâs valuable and toss the rest. (35:15) If the body is in a negative state then negative thoughts will emerge. Proprioception can be often thought of how you perceive your physical situation, but it goes a lot deeper than that. It is how you perceive yourself in any situation. Proprioception is how you catch yourself in the act of living. Weâre going to talk about this in depth today. Have a listen.

The prediction is made first, and only if the prediction is wrong, is more energy spent trying to figure out whatâs going on. (6:00) We end up limiting our future by never challenging the predictions of the past. (21:45) If a reaction to something was less than it was before, and if it stays that way over the course of a day or two, the brain is now making different guesses about the idea that has been adopted. Not everything is purely psychological. The biology of a person has a lot to do with their emotions, their thoughts and their moods. So, connection the biology to the psychology can be a key experience to letting go of trauma and addiction.

With all the clamoring voices declaring the latest health fads and superfoods, so many of which seem to be in contradiction to each other, how is one to know what to do? Do we follow the simple advice of Michael Pollan (Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.)? Or do we micro measure every morsel for optimum productivity and neurological function? Nowadays you can walk into almost anywhere and see the teenagers have all the signs of being youthful, but thereâs something off with their physique. (5:50) There are a lot of experts today that claim to know what health is. But when I step back and look at it, it just seems to be that what weâre claiming health is, is really distorted. (9:25) People define freedom as the ability to do whatever you want to do, but Iâve suggested the following definition; that freedom is the ability to not do what you donât want to do. (21:29) It doesnât have so much to do with your genetics, but the way you learned to eat. So if you change the way you eat, you can actually change what the outcomes are.
