It's crunch time again. Knuckles and Vector duke it out, bad blood builds up and dissolves amongst the Chaotix in these issues as Knuckles pursues his romantic interested Julie-Su! Hilarity ensues! The gang finds out that Mighty went through a forced labour camp in his childhood and we find out that he can't break those cuffs...but he CAN break some prison bars. Best of all...we get the return of everyone's beloved mad Doctor.

Wow would you look at the number of comics here. It's okay, a lot of them are filled with a bunch of NOTHING! The squad learns the history of Julian Robotnik and get some insight into the history of the Acorn Kingdom...again. Sonic becomes green with it and Sabrina the Teenage Witch makes a guest appearance. We take a deep dive into a page where there's a bunch of different Sonics drawn to reference other media. Man, they just can't go an issue without making Knuckles' dad worse and worse can they?

Sonic Super Special #5: Sonic Kids
Knuckles the Echidna 13-15We have a doozy of an episode. This week the boys work through the dramatic war of returning favourites Cal & Al where we sit through the epic fight between Sonic and Tails. Then following it up with a surprisingly okay story about Sonic and the Freedom Fighters as kids fighting Robotnik and any way they can! The boys agree that shitty dads always use computers to spy on their kids. Then, ending this session we dive into the best Knuckles story yet! Charmy's best friend ever gets overdosed on drugs and dies in Charmy's arms. The Chaotix (sans Knuckles) get hired by Chief Remington to look into people getting sick on LSD (Lemon Sundrop Dandelion) and it's all leading back to a carnival on the Floating Island. All while Knuckles appears for like a grand total of 3 pages...in his own story.

The gang seems to enjoy a comic for once and we get a history on Mean Bean machine and Sonic Blast! Harvek and Mega spitball some wack ideas, the gang starts the Antoine fan club, Dorko wishes harm upon the skunk and Bob gives us some banger summaries.
Knuckles gets his first story arc in his own comics while the Freedom Fighters try to find a spy! Knuckles' dad is a hypocrite and John St. Skunk is also here and the crowd starts booing.

Knuckles talks to himself some more, Sonic learns to speak Caveman, Bunny commits a crime and Rotor saves his family. Mega decided to psychoanalyze the relationship between a polar bear and a seal.
