Kevin Turner returns for a new episode of the Autosport Podcast as he, Marcus Simmons and Stephen Lickorish sit down to review the 2024 BTCC Support Series.
First up, a look a the British F4 Championship as Deagen Fairclough dominated proceedings, winning 14 races across the season on the way to a title won by over 200 points over any other rider, earning him a nomination for Autosport's Young Driver of the Year Award.
Next, a look at the Porsche Carrera Cup GB as George Gamble took top honours ahead of Charles Rainford and Hugo Ellis, as well as the surprise wins in the Pro-Am category for Angus Whiteside and W Series alum and star of "The Grand Tour", Abbie Eaton.

On the latest episode of the Autosport Podcast, Kevin Turner sits down with Marcus Simmons and Stephen Lickorish to preview the 71st 2024 Macau Grand Prix this weekend.
There's a significant change heading into this year's event as the main race is changing from F3 to Formula Regional machinery due to “a natural consequence of the evolution of the junior single-seater landscape”. The field for this year's race includes three F3 race winners, Ferrari Academy driver and title contender Dino Beganovic, MP Motorsport's Oliver Goethe, and Pinnacle Motorsport's Mari Boya. Also stepping up is Italian F4 Champion and Britain's best chance of success, Freddie Slater.
There's also a full preview of the FIA GT World Cup and the Macau Guia Race featuring World Touring Car Champion Rob Huff.

The Sprint opened the day, and with it, McLaren taking a 1-2 finish, but with Lando Norris in front after a swap of positions between the Brit and teammate Oscar Piastri with just three laps to go. Jonathan and Filip break down the "good problem to have" for McLaren as they delicately juggle team orders, and the threats of Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen. There's also an explainer on why Verstappen dropped to fourth with a five-second time penalty for a Virtual Safety Car infringement.
But soon after, the rain came pouring down at Interlagos, so much of it that Qualifying has been delayed until Sunday morning, with the stewards potentially holding the power to shape the grid for the Grand Prix if the rain persists. There was the breaking news drop in the morning of Ollie Bearman coming in at the last minute to replace an ill Kevin Magnussen for the weekend, and the Brit impressed again, outqualifying Nico Hulkenberg and making the final round of Sprint Qualifying. Alex Kalinauckas and Stuart Codling review a news-heavy Day 2 at the Mexican Grand Prix.
It took six hours to settle after the day's running was done, but the stewards rejected McLaren's Right to Review into Lando Norris' Austin Penalty. McLaren argued that Norris' was so far ahead of Max Verstappen going into Turn 12 that Max was the attacker and not the defender, but the duo explain why that wasn't considered "new evidence" in the eyes of the stewards.
F1 also had an extended 90-minute Pirelli Tyre Test for FP2, with Carlos Sainz fastest overall on the day's running, with George Russell in the wall for the second time in six days with a hard shunt in Sector 2. Stuart breaks down what Pirelli are trying to achieve with their 2025 tyres, and why a new experimental "C6" softer compound might be left on the cutting room floor.
