    About your Host:

Hey! My name is Brittany Quiroz (key-rose). I am a Multiple Sclerosis Advocate, Speaker, Writer and Creator. After my diagnosis of MS in 2019 I made a whiplash career change and found purpose in my diagnosis to raise awareness for the disease while empowering others to embrace the disasters of life.

I approach life with complete transparency and find freedom in unfiltered authenticity. I'm here to break the stigma of what disability looks like while ripping up the rule book.

Multiple Sclerosis has changed my life in so many different ways. I am grateful to have a voice in the MS Community that hopefully provides, hope & inspiration, topped off with a bit of chaos and comedy of course.

Disability is hard. Disasters are abundant. And chronic illness is relentless. But so are we! So embrace your disasters, your victories get enough attention! ~ BQ

  • I feel like this conversation should have happened years ago as Jenna and I have been beyond close since MS blessed us with friendship back in 2019. But I'm so excited that wea re finally able to share our views and conversation with you all!

If you are interested in connecting with Jenna please drop her a line on the gram (yes I just said that) @thejennagreen or email her directly at [email protected]

If you are familiar with the advocates of multiple sclerosis kicking it and keeping it real then you have probably seen Jenna's advocacy work and content. She's a pioneer in the world of MS and our community would not be the same without her.

Truly love you and can't wait to hug you in person one day. This Woman is one of my favorite human beings and one of my best friends (regardless of never physically encountering one another). Boston strong and full of life experiences, this chat isn't one to miss!

  • I remember my diagnosis period of "you have multiple sclerosis" so vividly because I wanted to be hyper aware of everything I was feeling in hopes of turning those emotions into something constructive years to come. I wanted to so closely observe everything that was going on to have edge an over my new reality. Observation, I believe is the key to a lot of things. It allows us to learn what NOT to do in the future. It teaches us how to listen to our instincts and let our intuition lead us.

I truly hope this solo chat can offer something to someone going through that newly diagnosed process. And of course like always, if you need ya gurl, email me, DM me, message me on FB. I will always get back to you, most likely with a funny video message to lighten the mood of things. ;)

One day at a time. One step at a time. One breath at a time. Whether you believe it or even know it right now...you GOT THIS.

  • One would think a diagnosis of breast cancer when you're in your 30's is enough to make life stop and catapult you into a horrible, dark and daunting emotional place. While of course there's so much that goes into not just a cancer diagnosis but SURVIVING it, Sabrina is proof that you can take something horrible and turn it into something powerful and life changing.

Now 3 years later she has built such an empowering community of survivors and previvors and her story is changing lives!

  • THIS CHAT! Woah, I am still blown away from every piece of power this conversation unveiled. After a car accident left Angela paralyzed from the neck down, she offered thanks to still being alive, adjusted to her new reality and took life by the reins. Having been in the modeling industry prior to her accident, she was dead set on continuing her career in print, fashion and changing the narrative for all disabled creatives. Now an advocate for paraplegics and the disabled community creator of "PUSH GIRLS" is here to share her journey of rising from pain and turning her reality into something powerful, inspiring and unstoppable.

I can't tell you how HONORED I was to speak with her and even more GRATEFUL to call this woman friend.

-Ang, you are a bright light in a foggy world. Thanks for being in my corner.

~ BQ

  • Getting to connect with so many of you is my WHY behind what I do in the MS space. If you've ever DM'd me, then you know I like to respond, usually with a silly video or something because why the heck not?!

I wanted to showcase a few questions that recently were sent to me.

MS can suck...a lot of the time. So I hope my replies ring true to many of you and maybe helps you if needed.

  • While letting you guys in on a sneak peek of how A HOT MS has even come to be, I wanted to touch on the theory around "What we want to be in life" compared to the "WHO we want to be".

From your tattooed crazy relentless pioneer of PERSPECTIVE, I truly hope this pod in particular offers some insight.

Nothing is for nothing. Everything holds a purpose. And screw ups hold VALUE.
