Broadcasting on the new KZLQ (93.1 FM), Blue Rock Public Radio is a privately and publicly funded non-profit membership media organization that broadcasts to the greater Blue Rock region. Covering a wide array of local, national, and international news, the station was founded in 2014 as part of a government-sponsored initiative to both inform the town’s citizens about widespread, ongoing national issues and collect valuable metadata about them.
