  • Welcome back to another episode of Amplify Our Advocacy. Today we are with Climate Change Activist Jonah Gottlieb. Jonah’s efforts as a climate change activist have made him well known in the community as he has participated and spoke at many rallies from the Bay Area to Washington D.C. Host Vince Wolfe discuss with Jonah his journey fighting for recognizing climate change to his beliefs and what lies for him in the future. Truly an exciting guest to have on the podcast.

Jonah Gottlieb, an 18-year old from Petaluma, California, is an activist, organizer, and Policy Director of the New Party Coalition. He is the co-host of Our Future Now, a podcast that helps mobilize GenZ and millennials to take action for progressive causes. A self-described “progressive policy nerd,” Jonah works regularly with members of Congress and leading advocacy organizations to create and analyze policy and ensure that GenZ has a voice in Congress. Jonah co-founded the National Children’s Campaign, a national nonprofit that serves to amplify the voices of America’s children and youth and make sure that our nation’s political leaders prioritize the issues that matter to those who are too young to vote. He was a lead organizer of the September 13th White House Climate Strike and September 20th DC Climate Strike, which, combined, drew over 15,000 people to demand climate justice for our elected officials. Jonah is a member of the class of 2024 at UC Berkeley.
