We need to stop living in the past and learn how to enjoy what we have right now. Think about it. How often do you live in nostalgia? How often do you not enjoy what you have today because you're so focused on the greatness of yesterday? Appreciating what happened in the past is amazing. Do you have friends that will help you with your itchy eyes? I know this question might sound silly to some, but I believe we should be genuinely concerned about this. I think that it is important for you to have people who are in your corner no matter what. For example, when Freddie Gibbs was talking recklessly about J. Cole there was a whole fanbase there to protect and defend Cole's name. In a negative context, at Diddy's most vulnerable time, one of his lawyers filed a motion to withdraw as his lawyer. So I ask you this one more time. Do your friends help you with your itchy eyes? If not maybe you're better off scratching them yourself.

KENDRICK LAMAR!!!! Not only has he been breaking records. He has broken the ultimate record by becoming the first rapper to surpass 100 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Only nine artists have achieved this in history. Only 2 of them are black men. We need to celebrate this as a culture, am I right? What's a better way to do this than to celebrate during festival season? The Roots PicNic? Wireless Fest? Anyone? Just me? Ok cool. Maybe I'll just go to Renaissance pt.2... When life gives you lemons... sometimes you have to throw them back. Just like I'm going to throw Kanye back to where he was before he got back on Twitter. Whoever his PR team is, is working overtime... or maybe they're fired... who knows. Also, when life gives you lemons (depending on what you do with them), you don't leave out of the situation the same. I'm finally in the year 2025. Boy, is this year a doozy? This episode will be a long letter on how this year opened up for me. This year might be where my boldness leads me to new opportunities or relationships. Either that or I will lose a friend for life... we'll have to see how this plays out.
