This little advanced planning technique could see you get a lot out of your year in ALL areas of your life. By using the year periodisation method you are able to zoom out and plan around lifes key moments, but importantly create powerful intentions and processes for the natural chunks your life will have - which we can call the seasons of our year.
I've recently put this process back into my life planning as I got caught out in the back end of 2024 with not doing this and getting a bit lost and overwhelmed. Now I'm back on track.

In my previous show about work life balance I lightly discussed becoming an unattached human. And in my podcast on spirituality I discussed āletting goā. Many have asked me for more on this topic, so here we go. I believe we can only become happy when we detach ourselves from things we need to be happy, this is where we get our POWER back.

What is spirituality?
18 months ago Iād never really heard the term, it hadnāt crossed my radar, and if it had, I would have assumed it was something to do with religion or yoga or just for the uber āwoo wooā crowd. Butā Iāve been cracked open like a nut and sold down the river, and itās ended up being one of the most rewarding journeys Iāve ever been on, and continues to be on.
So what is spirituality? What does it mean? Why should you care?
Iāll be honest, Iām still figuring it all out, but Iāve experienced enough now to share the early part of my journey, and how it has transformed my state of being, my experience of life, and what I now see.

In the UK, 82% of adults drink alcohol, 48% of adults drink once per week, yet it is widely known as a toxin to the body on many levels, and itās primary action is a depressant. 5% of all deaths worldwide are linked to alcohol, with alcohol related issues rising significantly since the pandemic.
But, alcohol is a cultural and societal norm, it's everywhere and itās totally normal to drink it, more normal than any other drug in circulation. Itās used to enjoy yourself, unwind, relieve stress, and escape your problems.
So the question is, how much is too much, is one drink ok, or are we missing its true effects not just on our physical health, but on our mental health. And if you exercise and drink, is it ok, or holding you back?
Iāve been particularly interested in this since going alcohol free. Itās been 6 months now, and in this podcast Iāll share my experience, some physiological statistics around alcohol use, how I accidently started this experiment, and my argument for a life without alcohol. With a special guest segment, Ruari Fairbairns from āOne Year No Beerā.
