Season 3 is officially ON for the boys at B1G Banter! Our Ethan Alex and Corey discuss their plans for College Football Domination with their Dynasties in the new CFP Video Game. With a new landscape for the conference, the only thing our hosts can do now is give their honest reactions to the Over/Under win totals for the entire conference. Good to be back, and ready for another season of College Football!

The College Football Playoff is expanding to more teams (we think) without a single game being played in the 12 team format. Alex and Corey discuss the ever-changing landscape of the sport, and how things like NIL and the success of the Men's and Women's basketball tournament will play a part in it. Also in this episode, the fellas come to a consensus on the official B1G power rankings for head coaches. Did we get it right?

After a short break, the fellas are back to talk new playoff rules, coaching hires, and their thoughts on the new NCAA Football video game release in the summer. With the playoff landscape as it is right now, many teams and conferences are on the outside looking in. Will the B1G and SEC suffocate the other power two? Does Notre Dame get screwed? (Yes). UCLA makes a savvy hire and Ethan and Corey share what they want to see in this year's game.
(Apologies for the technical difficulties, we're firing our editor).

The two powerhouses of College Football have just teamed up. The Avenger-esque partnership between the B1G and the SEC has people, including our hosts, asking questions. What does this mean for the other Power 5 Conferences? Is a New Governing Body on the horizon? Is the NCAA in trouble. Join the boys in their heated debate about an imminent power struggle that may leave some teams and conferences with an "adapt or die" mentality. Also, Michigan and OSU hire new coordinators, and UCLA scrambles to replace Chip Kelly. Everything you need to know about B1G football is right here and right now!

For the first time ever, B1G Banter has a guest host! Grace married Alex for some odd reason, but her knowledge of B1G Football demanded an appearance on the show. This week, our couple breaks down what the SEC-B1G alliance means for the college football world, as well as the recruiting classes for other B1g schools. Listen in for all your B1G news for the week, but stay for the Super Bowl predictions and where we'd go if we were 5 Star QB's.
-
We've got some replacements in Ann Arbor. Michigan has their man in Sherrone Moore, is it the right hire, safe hire, or both? The boys discuss and also share their way too early B1G power rankings, including our newest friends from the now defunct PAC-12. Listen through and shun Ethan for dogging on the beloved B1G Commercial.

Just days after Michigan's National Championship win, Nick Saban's departure from Alabama sent shockwaves into the College Football world that directly impacts the B1G conference. Just a week after that, Jim Harbaugh says goodbye to Michigan for the NFL, bringing a little bittersweetness to the party. What these moves mean for new conference member Washington and Michigan and how their replacements will fare in the 12-team playoff is discussed by our hosts. Not to be overlooked, Ohio State is MAD, and they are showing it on the recruiting/portal trail. The Buckeyes moves point towards a "Natty or Bust" season, will they be able to pull it off?

As the clock ticks to 0:00 on the 2023 College Football Season, your undefeated, B1G's Own, MICHIGAN WOLVERINES are your National Champion! Our hosts share memories of their favorite sports moments, and where this title ranks for them as fans. The Game itself is also dissected, how did Michigan's defense stand tall against the best offense in College Football, and how Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards once again lead the charge in the Wolverine's ground attack. Is this episode a Victory Lap for the fellas? Maybe. But let's be honest, you'd do the same! Stay tuned to the end of the episode to see who is the winner of our spread picks!

The last game of the College Football season is upon us, and we have a B1G matchup waiting in the wings. Michigan outlasts Alabama in a thriller in Pasadena and Washington survives Texas in the Sugar Bowl, leading up to a matchup between the nation's top offense and defense. The boys are riding high, and will share their thoughts on how the Rose Bowl was won for the Wolverines, and what they need to do to slow down Micheal Penix Jr. and the Huskies. Ethan, Alex, and Corey (with no victory lap in mind) breakdown if something is amiss in Columbus after their loss in the Sugar Bowl against Missouri.
One More for Glory.

It's been a long break for the Wolverines, but their tournament of Roses is finally here! The boys talk CFP and keys to the game for potentially the best matchups we have ever had in the College Football Semifinals. While there are other B1G Schools playing in some NY6 Bowls, they seem to have lost their luster. Ethan, Alex and Corey also share their thoughts on the state of other bowl games, and what they'd do to fix them. Hopefully next week, there will still be one more game to play...

Players and Coaches galore are looking at brand new homes for the 2024 CFP season and the boys are here to break it all down. Hear Ethan, Alex, and Corey discuss whether or not Tom Allen fits the hole left by Manny Diaz at Penn State, as well as the best possible OC candidate at Iowa (hint: if you have a pulse, you're on that list). Also, Dominic Raiola flips his commitment to Nebraska, and also does some poetry in the process; will he see instant success? To top it all off, the boys tell you what each B1G wants for Christmas, and we finally get to pick some BOWL GAMES for everyone's favorite super-conference-to-be. Merry Christmas everyone!

With the Early Portal Period WIDE open, and a new Carousel of Coaches beginning to make its rounds, it's safe to say this week's episode of B1G Banter covers a lot. Our hosts pass out grades for MSU andIndiana's new captains at the helm, as well as discuss potential landing spots for some big names in the portal. You're going to get just about everything this week; Disney Adults and Sacrilege included.

Championship Weekend concludes the way most thought it would, but not the final CFP rankings. Michigan ends up as the #1 Seed, but plays a red hot Alabama instead of Undefeated ACC Champ Florida State. The guys break it all down. Is this Fair? Are the best 4 teams in? What's the reasoning? Where's Paul Finebaum? In the midst of the heated debate, we preview the Rose Bowl, our favorite B1G Bowl Games, and become the most unhinged we've ever been in this week's episode.
-
The Game, at its highest stakes, did not disappoint. Michigan comes out victorious in the clash with Ohio State and represents the East for the B1G Championship. Ethan and Corey analyze what happened on the Last Saturday in November, what went right for the Wolverines and wrong for the Buckeyes. The fellas break down the scenarios for the CFP, and what OSU needs to get a backdoor invitation once again. One episode this week for the Championship preview with Iowa and the rest of the Conference Championship games are picked!

We loaded up this episode for you like a plate at Thanksgiving Dinner. Michigan and Ohio State play for it all this weekend, and we give you the picks and predications for everything B1G in one episode. Happy Thanksgiving, and Let's watch some football.

The only looming punishment we care about on B1G Banter is Alex's as he has to make up a game because he doesn't know how to read (or listen to a podcast for that matter). Division Races have the potential to close with Iowa and build excitement with Michigan and OSU. Also, the bowl fate of many B1G schools will be decided with a many interesting matchups.
-
In the game of the week, Michigan runs the ball literally every play, and James Franklin has no answers. The Latest CFP rankings are discussed in nauseam, and things get weird with some hypotheticals. Is Tony Petitti a coward? Is your B1G worth covering in the end of the year? You can bet that these questions are answered this week!
-
Outside of how close can Michigan-Penn State get, how bad will OSU beat MSU, and will somebody else take control of the B1G West there is only ONE thing that matters this weekend, how low will the point total for Iowa-Rutgers go?
-
With another B1G Heavyweight Bought looming, Michigan and Penn State took care of business in convincing fashion against Purdue and Maryland respectively. Ethan and Alex discuss the tale of the tape, and what each team should be concerned about heading into the matchup. Ohio State continues to win, coming out on top in a gritty game against Rutgers, and Iowa (somehow) controls their own destiny again for the West Title.
-
Our Picks are in for this week's B1G slate which includes a game in a baseball stadium, a tumultuous return to the field for the wolverines, and multiple intriguing matchups as it pertains to the B1G West. Ethan shares his thoughts on the continuous unfolding of Spygate, and we put some people on some Islands as the B1G Banter Picks Crown is still up for grabs.
