  • Manu is a yogi, mover and teacher obsessed with the mind-body connection. Her mission is to birth practices that heal emotional wounding, and reconnect you back with your native body- the one that’s free, connected, and flexible.

She’s been practicing yoga for 11 years, trained in India and all over Europe, and learned from some of the most brilliant physiotherapists and meditation teachers out there.

She combines movement science and ground-breaking research into the science of emotions, and offers it in simple practical terms as healing movement to all her students.

Her yoga style combines trauma healing somatics, zen Buddhism, but also biomechanics, and physiotherapy, because she believes there is a bigger picture we’ve been missing in our movement. The body and the mind are one, and only by tending to both can we truly heal.

As you’ll hear, Manu is a wealth of wisdom around building a digital product-based business. That and she is the most beautiful soul, leading her work with so much integrity and heart. I know you’ll adore her as much as I do.

In this episode, we chat about the remote job she got right out of college that allowed her to live on an island in Spain and teach yoga and meditation for free in her spare time, why working at a startup taught her all about marketing and online courses and ultimately inspired her to launch her first course just 3 years ago, the multiple digital products that flopped, and what she did to learn more about her audience and create something they wanted to buy, the launch of her most popular course, Hips Like Honey, the problem it solved for her ideal buyers, and why it turned into a great success, how she found her rhythm with social media and figured out what her audience engages with the most - and why that’s so crucial to anyone’s success on IG and beyond, and so much more!

With over a decade of experience as a yoga teacher, she seamlessly weaves ancient rituals and spiritual wisdom into her practice. In one hand, she honors the sacred, connecting with the divine and invoking the energies of ancestors for profound healing. In the other, she cradles the silly, understanding the importance of joy and laughter in our human journey.

I’m so excited for you to experience her - and hear how she’s made her work a successful and sacred pursuit.

In this episode, we chat about what drew her to becoming an actor and performer at a young age, and how she’s integrated these skills into a variety of professional endeavors from politics to comedy, the impact her father’s brain cancer diagnosis and eventual death had on her in her 20’s, and how this experience turned on her intuitive gifts and inspired her to study shamanism, her journey to weaving together everything she had to offer as a Shaman, Death Doula, Reiki Practitioner, Comedian, Yoga Teacher, and performer and her “weirdness” into a cohesive brand, her choice to go all in on supporting people in their grieving process and the incredibly unique and unconventional approach she takes to this very tender and nuanced life experience, why she has leaned heavily into grassroots, old school marketing and building community to create her client base and what she’s been doing as of late to build awareness about her brand, her book, and her podcast, and so much more!

  • Today I’m diving into one of the best ways to serve your clients and potentially scale your business (if that’s your goal!), and that is through GROUP PROGRAMS.

So, if you’ve been thinking about creating one, are about to launch one, or are looking to refine the one you’ve been running for years -

    This episode is for you.

Group programs are magic for a few reasons:

They give you the opportunity to have a bigger impact beyond private, one-on-one offers. Instead of serving a handful of clients at once, you can serve many more. They create community which is a highly transformative component of the human experience. Being held in community is often the special sauce behind the best group programs. They are often rinse and repeat in nature. You can create content for them once - like video lessons, audio lessons, homework assignments - and be done aside from ongoing tweaks and enhancements. They usually require less of your time and energy. Instead of having daily private calls with clients, you have one weekly group call and you’re done for the week. They have more earning potential. There are a variety of ways to structure a group program, but oftentimes there isn’t a cap on how many people you can enroll at once. And if there is, you can make it a high ticket offer that brings in multiple 5 figures each time you run it.

So lots of reasons to create one, right?

Now, how does one create a program that produces results - that both delivers to the clients who invest and earns a decent chunk of change.

That’s what I’m going to share with you today.

  • Today’s topic was inspired by a recent conversation with a client who has spent a decade trying to get her health coaching business off the ground. But, as she shared with me, has had very little success.

Just like so many people who start businesses, she knows she’s meant to help people - she yearns to change lives, but can’t figure out why it’s been such a struggle.

As I chatted with her to help identify what’s been in the way of her building momentum, making money, and having an impact

I discovered two core things that have been holding her back without her knowing it.

Giving up on her ideas and creations too soon. Looking for the perfect formula or framework.

Inside the episode, I share how these have played a big role in blocking momentum, clients, and money from flowing easily in her direction.

I also share how I started my business mentorship program, Your Wellness Brand, in 2017, and how I could have perceived it as a failure - but instead stayed the course and earned multiple 6-figures from that revenue stream alone.

If you’re someone who is feeling like you’ve failed recently, I see you and it’s my hope that this episode lifts your spirits and inspires you to keep going; to see things all the way through; and to always, trust your instincts.

  • In today’s episode, I talk about the ebb and flow of leveraging social media.

Meaning – the periods where you show up consistently and create a lot of visibility and relevancy for yourself

And then the periods where you pull back, do less, and aren’t prioritizing your visibility as much.

What does it all mean? What’s the impact? And why do we judge ourselves so much when we’re not following the perfect content creation plan every single month?

As someone who has most definitely been on top of my game – on fire creating content – and then, basically disappeared for months on end

I’ve seen the impact of this on my business firsthand.

So, today – I’m going to share about what happens in those contrasting scenarios and what you can do to “get back on the horse” so-to-speak.

Inside, I offer three powerful tips that will help you enjoy the process of creating content again – and remind you why social media is a vital piece of the business puzzle.

I hope it also gives you permission to regularly pull back and take breaks – because we all need it!
