Bobby Dove is a Montreal born singer-songwriter and a magnetic presence in the world of Country and Americana music. With a voice as powerful as their storytelling, this trans/non-binary troubadour pays tribute to the golden age of honky tonk, while crafting original, emotionally charged songs that “blend genres with the touch of a master.” (Mary Gauthier)
In 2021 Bobby released their sophomore record, Hopeless Romantic, co-produced with Blue Rodeo’s Bazil Donovan, and Tim Vesely (Rheostatics). The album gained international acclaim and climbed the Canadian Roots and U.S. Alt-Country radio charts.
Touring extensively throughout Canada, in addition to all the local haunts, Bobby Dove has given performances at the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Vancouver Island Music Fest, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Dauphin’s Countryfest, National Arts Centre (Ottawa), and has toured in Europe, including a highlight performance at the Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht, NL.
Along the road, Bobby has shared the stage with luminaries such as Fats Kaplin (John Prine), Mary Gauthier, Richard Thompson, Ray Benson (Asleep at the Wheel), and Lavender Country.
Currently based in rural Manitoba, Bobby Dove is preparing to release their upcoming full-length album “Fortune Teller” on April 24th 2026. Produced by Aaron Goldstein (Cowboy Junkies/Kathleen Edwards/City and Colour), the new record features 13 tracks, including a cowrite/duet with Grammy winning singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale.

He was raised on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, spending time with the elder fiddlers in the area. At the age of three he was given a jaw harp and harmonica by his father, and his mother gave him a fiddle and a record of Kentucky fiddle tunes. He has continued to play them all ever since.
As a teenager, he moved to Southern Ontario, where he took up the more ‘urban’ Saxophone, leaving the fiddle in the case for over ten years.
Coupled with a keen interest in drumming, he pursued a career as a percussionist, co-founding the acclaimed Cuban Folkloric ensemble, Klave Y Kongo. In the ten years with Klave Y Kongo, the band hosted many Cuban artists including Eliados Ochoa and Quartetto Patria of Buena Vista Social Club fame. Yet after a while he felt a responsibility to take his Great-Grandfathers fiddle out of the closet and get re-acquainted with the tunes.

SUZANNE NUTTALL has released an album called "Live Without A Net" on Bandcamp. The show was recorded at the end of an eight-city tour back in March 2025 in a packed "house concert" setting where you could hear a pin drop. This album is the culmination of years of work adapting and tweaking the arrangements of her original songs to create a dynamic one woman show - live without a net! Music lovers might remember Suzanne in her Montreal roots duo Bare Bones with Patrick Hutchinson and her Toronto six-piece soul-funk band Sue de Nym. Suzanne now calls Ottawa home and is busy slipping into its bustling and thriving music scene.

Jodi’s bold voice has been her instrument from early on. From 1993 – 2001, Jodi was part of the group Aridella. She released her debut album “Weigh The Needle Down" in 2022. She continues to work as a soloist and collaborator with many aroundthe Haliburton area. Jodi co-writes under the name name “Silva Musica” (follow on Bandcamp) with Richard Joudrey of Blue Peter and Rational Youth.

Born and raised where the two rivers meet in Arnprior, Ontario, where her parents owned a letter-press print shop, she learned the power of determination and the magic of art at a young age.

Brittle has opened for acts such as Sass Jordan, Adam Gontier, Logan Staats, Jeff Martin, Jon Bryant and many more. With over 6 million online streams, an Album of The Year nomination, International Songwriting Competition Finalist, and playing festivals like Ottawa Bluesfest, Festival of Small Halls, Breadmakr Calgary, The Victoria Listening Room, Folk Music Canada Conference and most recently, 2026 Mariposa Folk Festival Emerging Artist Showcase, Brittle continues to display she is one to watch.

He’s written for symphony orchestras, musical theatre and dance works, scored films, and for more than ten years was heard on CBC radio as songwriter-in-residence for the ’Basic Black’ and ‘Ontario Morning’ programs. Between tours, James is a record producer, playwright, community activist, theatre director and currently has a part-time ‘side hustle’ as a Guelph City Councillor. These days he’s perhaps known as the composer of the viral internet hit “Crybabies Caravan”, about the so-called ‘Freedom Convoy’ in Ottawa. It’s received more than 300,000 views and stimulated a lot of inspiring discussion.
His songwriting-in-the-schools program “Rhyme Capsules” has brought him all over the world, creating songs with students of all ages, and it earned him a place of honour on the “Wall of Fame” in Guelph’s Youth Music Centre.

The November Project is a true story based on over 300 love letters my grandpa wrote to my grandma during World War 2. I transcribed all of the love letters into a series of four books called Frank Love Letters. I learned how our ancestors fought for human rights, for everyone to get home, and to keep families together. These themes are universal and are expressed throughout history in songs and stories of love and longing. I am proud to share the story of our Canadian ancestors that brought freedom from want and freedom from fear to so many people.

Kele regularly opens for Canadian icon Jane Siberry to sold-out venues across the province, was interviewed on CTV, which aired across the country, quoted in The New Yorker expressing her thoughts on the music industry and charted at #1 for 3 weeks running on the New Queer Canada Music Charts this year. She is a proud member of the LGBTQ2A community, and her presence in today’s music scene is an important reminder that it needs to continue to be more diverse and inclusive.

Known for her authentic, soul-stirring performances, Erika writes songs that explore grief, healing, transformation, and human connection with unflinching honesty.
Raised on the music of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, she began playing guitar in college and turned to songwriting as a deeply personal outlet. Though she wrote privately for years, it wasn’t until 2018 that she stepped onto a stage at a local open mic. From that moment on, her musical journey accelerated. She now performs regularly throughout New Jersey at songwriter showcases, listening rooms, and community venues, both as a solo artist and alongside a rotating cast of collaborators.
Her vocal style and music have drawn comparisons to Natalie Merchant, Emmylou Harris, Stevie Nicks, and Gillian Welch, but her sound remains distinctly her own. Influenced by the songwriting of artists like Peter Gabriel, Ryan Adams, and Jeff Tweedy, Erika’s lyrics are poetic and introspective, shaped by her experiences and a deep connection to people, nature, and memory.
Her 3rd album, Wrap Me Up in Colored Feathers, was released in September of 2025. Produced by Damian Calcagne at PineBox Studio, the ten-song collection features contributions from notable musicians including Mike Robinson, Elliott Peck, and Adam Minkoff. It follows her 2023 album, Bad Wolf, and her 2021 debut EP, Like Birds, further establishing Erika as a powerful new voice in folk and Americana.

Although exposed to classical tunes with piano lessons during childhood and playing the alto sax in Grade 9, none of that moved the needle. Hearing his dad spin endless vinyl through the floorboards to the tune of Lionel Richie, Kenny Rogers, Whitney Houston, Neil Diamond and many others in his childhood, however, was the spark in Matty's musical fire. In his preteens, he was enthralled by the rhymes and rhythms and wordplay of Hip Hop and rap music, with Run DMC, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J and the Fat Boys kicking open a door in his subconscious mind. Lyrics have always been Matty's true north, and they provide the canvas for the rainbow-coloured paint spatter of his heart-sleeve songs. Whether he's firing up the machine with his ferocious five piece band, playing in a trio or duo with his talented side-players (AKA Tom Thompson on pedal steel and baritone electric guitar and Gideon Yellin on atmospheric electric lead), or completely exposed in a solo setting, Matty is a versatile performer who brings an earnest and passionate thunder and lightning along with somber ponderous post-storm thought-drizzle to every live setting.

Allison’s music continues to evolve after more than two decades of performance history. Allison’s musical rambles have taken her across Canada on several occasions, playing music from atop hay-wagons to festival stages, concert halls to living rooms, campfires to stone amphitheatres, churches and record stores, coffeehouses and honky-tonk saloons to aboard moving passenger rail cars. She has performed road tours lasting up to three months and has released three full-length studio albums, live albums, and several singles.
Allison performs solo with guitar and voice, but is often joined by her brave mandolin accompanist, Dan Henshall. She also teams up with Southern Ontario’s classic country music authenticator Mike Houston (formerly Lonesome Lefty) for honky-tonk and bluegrass duets. Allison’s backing band, “The Assembly Line,” expands her sound to an acoustic trio or quartet. Allison often teams up with musical friends for a variety of unique collaborations.

You’ll find Kyla deep in the woods of the island of Newfoundland, in the province of Newfoundland & Labrador, on the far east coast of Canada. Most of her time is spent writing songs and playing her guitars. The wild and unkempt nature of this place is a constant source of inspiration, as are books, movies, sports, video games, art, humanity, laundry, shoes...
The music she makes exists because she grew up playing classical guitar, singing Celtic folk music, and listening to prog-rock and metal, among other things. Prog-folk is the best descriptor she can think of for what it is exactly that she does. There’s a bit of 60s folk revival and musical theatre in there too.

Daniel Raymond was nominated as a finalist for 'Songwriter of the Year' and his album 'Suspension' was nominated as a finalist for 'Album of the Year' in the 2023 Oshawa Music Awards (wearetheomas.ca). The song ‘115’ from ‘Soft’ was also nominated for ‘Durham Song of the Year’ in the 2021 Oshawa Music Awards. The song ‘Waiting’ from ‘Suspension’ has been performing well on Spotify with over 50,000 streams since its release in March of 2022. Raymond's songwriting and musical style have been described as 'distinctly Canadian' - with a number of his songs, including 'Palmateer', '115' and 'Peterborough' referencing specific Canadian people and places. Raymond is also active as a live performer, playing often in the Greater Toronto area, with recent slots opening for The Skydiggers, Jim Bryson and Catherine MacLellan since the release of his latest E.P.
