We had the pleasure of interviewing Judah & the Lion over Zoom video!
âFloating in the Night,â the follow-up to âGreat Decisions,â Nashville crossover folk heroes Judah & the Lion (Judah Akers and Brian Macdonald) double down on the post break-up anger â but stretch towards forgiveness. The soul-baring new single is from their forthcoming album, The Process, which will be released on May 10 via Cletus the Van / Downtown Artist & Label Services.
Judah says, âAnger was something I wasnât allowed to feel growing up. The notion that everything had to be âokayâ and not be justifiably angry only hurt me and my chronic back pain. When people who hurt you donât take your pain seriously. That fucking sucks. I wonât let that happen again.â
The Process, their fifth studio album, was inspired by singer Judahâs personal life and struggles. Both he and Brian are sons of therapists, so groundbreaking psychiatrist Elisabeth KĂŒbler-Rossâ five stages of grief came to mind â Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance â as they began work on the album. Interludes set the tone for song suites dedicated to each of the five stages. Leading up to release of âFloating in the Night,â Judah & the Lion teased the single and shared about the role anger plays in the healing process in a series of short videos. Influencer jordanbyrness amplified the message with her âYALL. ARENâT. HEARING. HIM.â post.
Judah & the Lion will be performing some of the new songs on tour this spring. The extensive North American run will kick off on April 25 at PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte, NC and include shows at Coloradoâs Red Rocks Amphitheatre (May 19) and The Rooftop at Pier 17 in NYC (May 31).
The Process is buoyant, impassioned and emotionally connective. The band has a reinvigorated sense of purpose with its aim to create music that resonates deeply, believing in musicâs power to connect people and make them feel less alone in lifeâs journey.
The band began releasing songs from The Process last year. The new material has racked up nearly 10 million combined global streams to date and earned spots on numerous playlists across all DSPs, including Spotifyâs New Music Friday, Apple Musicâs New Music Daily and Amazon Musicâs Alternative Hits, with additional support from SiriusXM Alt Nationâs âAdvanced Placement,â Pandora, YouTube, SoundCloud, Tidal, Audiomack and Deezer.
Since their 2012 debut EP, Judah & the Lion have earned widespread acclaim for their genre-bending music, received Platinum/Gold certifications, amassed over one billion career streams and sold over 500 million tickets. Six of their hit singles have gone Top 15 on Alternative radio and the band won an iHeart Music Award for Best New Alt Rock Band of 2018. The Process is the follow-up to 2022âs Revival, which Atwood Magazine praised as an âelectric embrace of what it means to be alive: Soaring through limitless euphoric highs, dwelling in gut-wrenching lows, and soaking up all the feeling in between.â

We had the pleasure of interviewing RAEGAN over Zoom video!
New York-based, queer experimental alt-pop artist RAEGAN releases her highly-anticipated debut EP, FUCK RAEGAN. Her first full-length EP, the project debuts her as a rising, multi-faceted creative force to be reckoned with.
At its core, FUCK RAEGAN is an unpredictable, theatrical, and innovative journey through RAEGANâs inner workings. The six-track record shows her fully embracing her own unique sonic atmosphere, embellishing carefully-crafted rhythms with soft, haunting vocals. Combining witty-yet-personal lyrics with inventive beats and vivid soundscapes inspired by Tyler, the Creator and Marina, RAEGANâs versatility and songwriting prowess is front and center throughout the EP.
The four previously-released singles are now complemented by two additional tracks - tongue-in-cheek title track âFUCK RAEGANâ and the vulnerable â101 DALMATIONS.â âFUCK RAEGANâ sets the tone for the project with its unapologetic confidence of RAEGAN finding her identity that served as a driving force in the EPâs formative stages. Meanwhile, â101 DALMATIANS'' ends the project on a softer, more vulnerable note as RAEGAN juxtaposes the prior tracks as she laments, âYou donât want them to know me.â As a whole, the songs build an empowering illustration of the authentic, head-spinning experiences of navigating self-discovery and to not take life too seriously, despite everything.
âIn this period, I was finding my identity not only in life but as an artist; these beats are me experimenting with that,â shares RAEGAN. âContinuing to grow and elevate, I see myself having found my audience and creating a bond with them. Itâs only up from here, and I'm excited for people to hear what I've made so far so I can start releasing my new music and have my listeners follow me through real time. I'm constantly growing and going through different eras of my life and I'm ready to show the world who I am now.â RAEGAN consistently challenges artistic boundaries with her work. Following the positive reception of her track âCOINS'' late last year, which was highlighted in Billboardâs âQueer Jams of the Week,â
RAEGAN continues to remain a dynamic force in the alt-pop music scene and grow her legion of dedicated fans online. Her earlier single, âMEAN'' gained praise from People Magazine, earning her a spot on their âTalented Emerging Artistsâ list, recognizing her as a bold trailblazer in the industry. Her latest release, âFROGS,â set the stage for the EP and earned playlisting by Ones To Watch and praise from Substream Magazine. Her work has not only been praised for its sound, but for the songsâ accompanying visuals that bring them to life on a screen and further prove RAEGANâs overall artistic genius.
The release of âFUCK RAEGANâ is momentum for what is set to be a massive year for RAEGAN. Last week, she concluded supporting Autoheart on their completely sold-out Love Me, Love Me, Love Me tour across the United States, bringing her captivating live set to venues such as the iconic Troubadour in Los Angeles and New York Cityâs Racket.
Stay tuned for more from RAEGAN.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Great Good Fine Ok over Zoom video!
LA-via-Brooklyn synth-pop sensation Great Good Fine Ok has unveiled their latest musical endeavor, EXIST EP, via Nettwerk. The EP features the new single/music video âLed Me To You,â propelled by an infectious groove and soaring vocals.
The EXIST EP features a collection of colorful, groove-laden tracks that establishes Great Good Fine Ok's innovative blend of synth-pop, showcasing their ability to create upbeat melodies and compelling lyrics. A sprawling voyage that transcends sonic boundaries and explores the multifaceted aspects of existence, the EP is another testament to the duo's growth as artists and their commitment to pushing the boundaries of the genre, while balancing both introspective and uplifting material.
The latest single "Led Me To You," is driven by catchy hooks and dynamic production. With âLed Me To You,â the snappy groove uplifts another towering display of vocal fireworks. The track explores themes of resilience and finding love in unexpected places, as explained by lead single Jon Sandler, âTo a degree, everyone experiences trauma. Most people do find happiness in relationships, so itâs a healthy way to look at it, âHardship led me to youâ.â
"Breathing" is a sonic journey through pulsating basslines, simmering drums, and wah-wah groans, all set against a neon-hued backdrop. The track encapsulates the band's signature blend of groovy yet sonically dynamic elements, creating an immersive and infectious musical experience. Paired with âBreathingâ is a stunning music video directed by Zebulon Griffin (Jonah Kagen, UPSAHL) and the team at Columinati Films (Griffin, Cory Messer, Robyn Griffin). The visuals explore the surreal scenario of people continuing with mundane tasks amidst a crumbling world. A satirical portrayal of human indifference, the clip invites viewers to consider the possibility of alternate realities through vibrant neon portals.
"Will We Make It?" demonstrates a revitalized soundscape of Great Good Fine Ok, blending warbling vocals with bass-y synths that are sure to entice listeners. Behind the lush and otherworldly production is multi-instrumentalist Luke Moellman, whose spacey production adds depth and dimension transporting listeners to a sonic realm where emotion and music collide in new and enthralling ways. The track features hypnotic high register gliding over a bridge that sets the stage for Sandler's emotionally charged plea, "I really need to know right now, will we make it?" This lyrical exclamation delves into the uncertainty that often accompanies todayâs complex world of relationships and connections with a relatable perspective.
With âBlame,â a soft piano underscores breathy verses only for the momentum to turn on a dime into a funkified, falsetto-powered hook backed by steady handclaps, strutting guitars, boisterous horns, and a disco beat practically tailormade for Studio 54 (as re-conceived in the metaverse). The tender finale âMake This Moment Lastâ sees the duo lace a head-nodding bounce with raw vulnerability. âItâs about losing someone and being nostalgic,â shares Sandler. âIf you had more time, you feel like youâd appreciate it more.

We had the pleasure of interviewing MISSIO over Zoom video!
Personally, MISSIO is the union of two longtime friends and creative kindred spirits. Musically, MISSIO is a living and breathing entity with a mind of its own. Communally, MISSIO is a movement of fans worldwide attached to the sentient artistry of those creators.
The acclaimed Austin, TX duoâMatthew Brue and David Butlerâfearlessly break the rules as they fuse elements of rock, electronic, indie, and hip-hop into an unmatched and uncompromising hybrid. They tie seemingly disparate threads together with honest and heartfelt lyrics meant to both provoke and inspire.
Following the 2023-2024 Cinco EP series, the pair present their most definitive and dynamic vision yet with their full-length double-album, I Am Cinco [Nettwerk Music Group]. It collates five moodsâI Am Sad, I Am High, I Am Awesome, I Am Angry and I Am Crazyâinto one.
Since 2015, MISSIO have painted this picture. It only became clearer as they served up projects such as Loner [2017], The Darker the Weather // The Better the Man [2019], Can You Feel The Sun [2020], and VILLAIN [2022]. Tallying over 1 billion streams, their catalog has notably resonated with the Gold-certified âEverybody Gets Highâ and staples, including âTwisted,â âBottom of the Deep Blue See,â âSing To Me,â and âI See You.â Between packing houses on tour, they appeared at festivals a la ACL and Lollapalooza and incited the applause of Atwood Magazine, Billboard, Rolling Stone, The Boston Globe, New Noise Magazine, and Substream Magazine. This ambitious season of music initially took shape in their headquarters of Austin only to be completed on a creative sojourn to Mexico City. Excited to share the music with the world, the group teased what would become I Am Cinco with 2023âs I Am Sad, I Am High, and I Am Awesome.
Everything just set the stage for them to finally release this body of work in its entirety as I Am Cinco.

We had the pleasure of interviewing The Glorious Sons over Zoom video!
The Glorious Sons, renowned for their chart-topping hits and captivating live performances, are poised to make an impact on the musical landscape once again with the release of their new album, 'Glory'. With a distinct roots rock feel, the 10-track project is out now via Warner Music Canada and ADA Worldwide.
Best known for their twoBillboard Mainstream Rockchart-topping singles "S.O.S. (Sawed OffShotgun)" and "Panic Attack," as well as being nominated for the 2020 iHeart Media Best NewRock/Alternative Rock Artist, The Glorious Sons have consistently pushed boundaries and defied expectations. With their latest album, 'Glory', they delve even deeper into the human experience, exploring themes of perseverance, personal growth, and the tumultuous journey of self-acceptance.
Lead singer Brett Emmons shares his perspective on the album's inspiration and themes: "When I listen back to this album, it kind of presents itself as one big inner struggle puked out for everyone to hear. Sometimes it actually embarrasses me quite a bitâbut thatâs what was in there, soâlife goes on, I guess."He attributes the album's themes to spending time alone and confronting his inner thoughts during the pandemic: "It kind of feels like the acknowledgment of that annoying pain of what it means to be human."
The Glorious Sons' journey in the music industry has undeniably influenced the evolution of their sound.âGloryâ showcases their growth, maintaining the emotional intensity they are known for while exploring new sonic territories. Emmons reflects,"âGloryâ is just another chapter in what weâre doingâIâm sure weâll be another band next album, itâs kind of just the way our minds work."He emphasizes the album's departure from the immediate hit-seeking approach, instead focusing on creating a body of work that breathes and takes its time, allowing the band's personal taste to shine through.
The album's lead single, "Mercy Mercy," set the tone for the introspective journey. The song combines elements of familiarity and innovation to showcase the bandâs distinct sonic style and poignant lyrics, while highlighting their anthemic and ambitious nature.âMercy Mercyâ quickly became a contender, it was the most added track at rock radio formats for two consecutive weeks, reached #3 on Mediabase's Multiple Rock Formats in Canada, and continues to receive strong support from Triple A and Alternative stations in the US.
"Glory" not only stands as the album's title but also embodies its essence, playing a pivotal role in the project's narrative. Emmons describes it as" a rally cry to the band," a reflection on their journey, a surrendering of emotions, and a reminder that success is not a guarantee. He notes, "I wanted people to know how good we had it, and remind them that this [success] doesnât last forever. Itâs not just something thatâs owed to us."

We had the pleasure of interviewing John Smith over Zoom video!
Though he was dubbed the future of folk music by Pentangleâs John Renbourn, singer-songwriter John Smithâs unique synthesis of styles puts him halfway across the Atlantic. He once made an album driving round the Deep South, recording out of the boot of his car; but his new record The Living Kindis the real masterpiece in American atmospherics â a true musicianâs record, produced by Joe Henry, the man responsible for some of the subtlest Americana of recent times.
At the start of 2022 they cooked up the idea for an intimate record together â âan acoustic album that sounded like Spirit of Edenâ, Smith explains, referencing Talk Talkâs 1988 classic. Along with John Martynâs Solid Air and Joni Mitchellâs electro-acoustic odyssey Hejira, it was one of the three creative inspirations for The Living Kind.
Like Hejira, the new album is a cohesive song-cycle that seems to be cast in one rich tone-colour, one powerful mood. At the start of the Covid pandemic, Smithâs family suffered a cluster of personal crises in the space of three months. His mother began radiotherapy for breast cancer, his father was diagnosed with Alzheimerâs and his wife lost a pregnancy which also endangered her life. The couple, who have a young daughter, sold their house in Sussex and relocated his parents from Spain to a new home, for treatment. After that, as he sings in his first single The World Turns, Smith had to âfind a new way to feelâ.
Most of the songs were written in the space of just two months over Christmas last year: The Living Kind is an album made after, not in the midst, of a period of personal turmoil. It gets you right in the chest â the opener,Candle, captures the overwhelming strain of his fatherâs diagnosis â but in its self-possession and curious positivity it feels like the culmination of many personal evolutions.
The Living Kind owes much of its precision and confidence to its unique recording circumstances: it was cut over just four days in February 2023, in Joe Henryâs remote home in Harpswell, Maine. With temperatures dropping to -25 outside, the band â a tight trio consisting of Henryâs son Levon and bassist Ross Gallagher â didnât leave the house at all. You can hear the closeness, darkness and warmth in the new songs â the hunkeredness, the cocoon.
It was the first live recording made in Joeâs new âmusic roomâ, a space above the garage, and cutting a record there was a leap of faith as it was completely un-soundproofed: âif a truck came by, youâd have to stop recordingâ.
But Henryâs organic and spontaneous way of working has revolutionized Smithâs own. Writing on his 1963 Martin and a new Mulecaster steel guitar, Smith tends to be led where his instrument takes him. Heâs always played acoustic guitars with pickups inside, and enhances the rich, three-dimensional sounds with an EBow: a vibrating magnet held above a guitar string, which produces a theremin-like wail.
The Living Kind is an album from someone lucky enough to have the gift of music to help put lifeâs greatest challenges into some kind of perspective: âI do feel without my guitar and without song-writing I would have lost my mind, many timesâ Smith says. Henry detected something new in his singing, a lack of self-consciousness, closer to live performance than he had ever heard him in the studio.

We had the pleasure of interviewing SHAED over Zoom video!
Genre-defying band SHAED announces their new album Spinning Out out June 7th via BMG. Pre-save the album HERE. The band also released their new single âRocket in the Sky.â
The album comprises eleven songs exploring themes of family, love, and growth. Over years of writing, recording, and producing, Spinning Out cohered as a collection of snapshots and vignettes, reflecting on love and belonging from all different angles.
âRocket in the Skyâ follows âEverybody Knows Iâm Highâ as the second single from Spinning Out. âRocket in the Sky,â while originally written about Chelsea and Spencerâs daughter June, perfectly captures the feeling of loving someone so much that you canât even do the simplest of tasks. The creation of âRocket in the Skyâ was entirely organic and âsuper emotional.â Spencer and Chelsea started the song on the guitar, Max reimagined the chords on the piano, and all three finished it and tracked it in the living room.
On the production, SHAED shared, âWe produced it out in a bunch of different ways in LA, including a disco version, think âStaying Alive,â âDancing Queenâ energy. When we got back to DC, we listened back to the original demo and just felt that it had this unrestrained emotional performance by Chelsea that couldnât be replicated. So we kept the original demo, layered in a few elements to build the energy of the tune, and printed it.â
About SHAED:
SHAED werenât immune to spinning out. The trio of Chelsea Lee and twin brothers Max and Spencer Ernst had been living in a whirlwind for a long time â a long, circuitous, sometimes stop-start arc that included meeting as teenagers playing around D.C., living and writing at home together, and a surprise breakout hit in 2018âs âTrampoline.â The runaway ascension of âTrampolineâ led the band through an array of dream scenario milestones â soundtracking a MacBook Air commercial, two billion streams, and accolades from pop culture monoliths like iHeart and Billboard. But SHAED also experienced the pitfalls of following that unexpected success. Seeking a reset, the trio emerged from tumultuous times equally defined by existential crises and beautiful life changes to craft a sophomore album that was as true a statement of their identity as anything they had made thus far. There was only one name for it: Spinning Out.
Spinning Out is the sound of SHAEDâs core ethos, their connection as family and musicians. Inspired by new love and parenthood, the album cohered as a collection of snapshots and vignettes, reflecting on belonging and connection from all different angles. While aided by collaborators like POWERSâ Mike Del Rio, the bulk of Spinning Out was built on SHAED, as always, writing and recording at home together, chasing a more organic and lived-in atmosphere. Across moving ballads and graceful bops alike â including the emotionally bare title track, the soaring âRocket In The Sky,â and the hazy earworm of lead single âEverybody Knows Iâm Highâ (debuted in SHAEDâs February Kimmel performance) â the band catalogs all the trials, euphoria, confusion, and hope that ran through a messy few years. Once upon a time Spinning Out mightâve been born from fragmentation, but it became the story of SHAED doing what theyâve always done best â getting in a room and chasing the answer together.â
Everybody Knows Iâm Highâ was SHAEDâs follow up to their 2021 album High Dive.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Zach Hood. over Zoom video!
Rising pop star, Zach Hood recently released his single, "how to change a tireâ.
This single is like no other for Zach, it shares a vulnerable side in his songwriting. He shares his story on âhow to change a tireâ that âWhen I was 8 years old my dad left. It was my first heartbreak. When youâre a kid and your parents divorce, it almost seems fake. Itâs all youâre used too. As I grew up, I learned a lot of things. I learned how to treat women, and fend for myself without a dad in my corner. Itâs the hardest thing Iâve had to overcome. I learned a lot of things from the divorce, but I still miss the simple things that I didnât learn from my dad. The main reason I wrote this song is because of my brother. He told me a story about a year back and he said 'I was in Mobile, Alabama when my tire popped. I didnât know what to do cause I couldnât change it.' He sat there for about 30 minutes until someone pulled up behind him. It was our dad. Out of everyone in the city, it was him⊠The odds of that are insane and it broke my heart. With all of that being said, Iâve learned a lot from life, but I still canât change a tire.â
About Zach Hood:
Born and raised in Daphne, Alabama, Hood went from tirelessly posting content on social media to signing a record deal with Arista, landing representation from William Morris Endeavor, and making his debut festival performance at Hangout Fest in his hometown of Alabama in May 2022, the only Alabama native on the bill. In addition, Hood released his debut EP BLOSSOM, which included previous hit singles: âwhen she was mineâ ânever knew a heart could break itself,â and âlonely isnât the word for this. Variance noted that âBLOSSOM offers a glimpse of a future star.â Hood now resides in Los Angeles and has about two million monthly listeners on Spotify, with well over 300 million streams across platforms.
âIâm just a kid from Alabama who stayed true to himself,â says Hood. âI never let anyone get in my way, I persevered, and I stayed on my path. I just absolutely had to make music.â

We had the pleasure of interviewing L.A.B. over Zoom video!
New Zealand reggae band L.A.B. recently released their brand new album, L.A.B VI.
After a steady schedule of releasing their first five albums within a five year span, L.A.B VI arrives after an almost two year-long period of writing, recording, tweaking & finessing what is possibly their strongest album to date. Recorded with frequent collaborator Lee Prebble at Wellington's Surgery Studios, the album was written amongst a heavy touring schedule which saw the band perform sold-out shows across NZ, Australia, the United States, the UK & Europe over the past two years.
Whittled down from nearly 30 total tracks, the 11 songs featured on L.A.B. VI are a welcome addition to an already beloved catalogue. Featuring the singles "Take It Away," "Casanova,â "Oh No (Pt. 2)â and âOcean Demon," the album shows off all the different sides of the L.A.B sound â combining reggae/roots & soul with funk & elements of rock.
L.A.B. has established themselves as one of the hardest-working bands in New Zealand with their relentless touring & recording schedule. They have also achieved multiple chart topping singles, 17 multi-Platinum singles, 11 Gold singles and over 500 million streams across all DSPs. While L.A.B VI represents the longest time the band have taken between albums, it also represents the most complete album in their catalogue. The album confirms their place as one of the key acts in the New Zealand music scene, while setting their sights on growing their audience globally.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Kill The Lights over Zoom video!
Certain bonds cross any and all borders and boundaries. Kill The Lights harbor this kind of connection between them. Even though youâve got Michael âMooseâ Thomas [drums] and Jason âJayâ James [bass] in Bridgend, Wales, James Clark [vocals] in Minneapolis, MN, Jordan Whelan [guitar] in Grand Rapids, MI, and Travis Montgomery [guitar] in Dallas, TX, the musicians lock into an impenetrable groove that eclipses physical distance. Together, they rally around a tight, taut, and tough vision for heavy metal, manifesting in rafter-reaching anthems and pit-splitting riffs.
After piling up millions of streams and earning acclaim from the likes of KERRANG! and Metal Hammer, a sense of unwavering unity drives their second full-length offering, Death Melodies [Fearless Records].
Of course, the musicians boast an incredible pedigree⊠Moose co-founded multiplatinum international heavyweights Bullet For My Valentine, while Jay also played in the band. James fronted Throw The Fight, and Jordan and Travis handled guitar duties for Still Remains and Threat Signal, respectively. Upon forming Kill The Lights, they uncovered uncontainable chemistry, releasing their debut LP The Sinner in the midst of the global pandemic. Among many highlights, âThe Facelessâ posted up 2 million-plus Spotify streams and counting followed by âThrough The Nightâ and âShed My Skin,â which each crossed the 1 million mark. Metal Hammer rated it â4-out-of-5 starsâ and proclaimed, âKill The Lights nail the groove and the glory.â Along the way, they wrote and recorded Death Melodies with sessions in Canada, Minneapolis, and across the pond in the UK with producers Chris Clancy and Colin Richardson. A complex theme coursed through the music. âEverybody struggles with different things,â states James. âThese are songs about acknowledging and sharing the struggle in life. Youâre acknowledging the world is a hard place. Hopefully, you can find some solace in it by knowing another person feels the same way."
Fittingly, they bust through the door of the next era with the single âBroken Bones.â On the track, galloping drums propel a thrashed-out riff at full speed towards a hummable hook, âYouâre dead inside, but still alive. Thereâs nothing left but broken bones.â
âMuch of the record centered around depression and dealing with anxiety,â James goes on. âSo, âBroken Bonesâ is about battling your way through life, but sticking with it.â
Vulnerable acoustic guitar sets the tone for âSleep With The Devilâ as tension swells into an emotionally charged skyscraping refrain uplifted by a six-part choir harmony. âItâs stuff you donât hear too much on a metal record,â Jordan comments. âIt stretches the places we can go.â
A sinewy guitar line snakes through the understated trudge of âBleeding,â which is about âliving a recurring nightmare and never being able to break the chain.â Then, thereâs âFrom Ashes.â Guitar swings like a wrecking ball from melodic verses towards a magnetic refrain. The ride concludes on the transfixing closer âDrowningâ as distortion submerges an ethereal chorus.âIt had a bit of a grungy vibe to it,â Jordan goes on. âWe added some different dynamics on the record that werenât there on the first one.â
In the end, Kill The Lights invite everyone to partake in their bond now.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Bokassa over Zoom video!
Over ten songs and 30 minutes, Bokassa is as diverse as ever on their new full length âAll Out of Dreamsâ. The power trio offers everything from riffy stoner metal in "Bradford Death Squadron", almost progressive skatepunk in "No More Good Days", 45 seconds of metallic hardcore in "Everyone Fails In The End" to laid-back Izzy Stradlin bottle neck-riffing on the desert rocker âGung Hoâ. Not to mention the hooky and anthemic title track. In other words, the band has not become less fond of mixing genres over the years!
In an age where everything sounds the same, it has also always been important to Bokassa that each record is sonically different from the previous one. Therefore, they have been very conscious of how this record should sound. Where, for example, the debut "Divide & Conquer" had a noisy soundscape and 2021's "Molotov Rocktail" had a more playful and bigger rock sound, "All Out Of Dreams" has a slightly more raw metallic sound. This can clearly be seen in the conscious choice to go for a snare drum sound that brings to mind 90s metal, rock and punk ala Clutch, Helmet, Therapy? Or The Vandals' "Live Fast Diarrheaâ, too name a few.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (Meshuggah, BabyMetal, Madball, Sick Of It All, The Haunted) in Antfarm Studio in Denmark in June 2022. The band also has guest artists for the first time, in the form of Lou Koller from the NYHC legends Sick Of It All and Aaron Beam from the stoner rockers Red Fang.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Reconciler over Zoom video!
Reconciler is a band from Atlanta, GA who first amplified in the summer of 2016. Harkening to a sound alternately Southeast and East Bay, they released their debut LP, Set Us Free, in February of 2019 to critical acclaim from punk and Americana outlets alike. The band spent 2019 playing often across the Southeast and East coast and announced their first European shows, slated for June 2020.
Shortly After the first anniversary of Set Us Free, the world shut down and all plans were canceled indefinitely. Reconciler wouldnât see another stage for 18 months despite releasing a split 7 inch with the legendary Gainesville outfit, Ship Thieves in January of 2021 and offering another new track on the Grace vinyl comp alongside many noteworthy acts including Hot Water Music, Samiam, and Catbite the following October.
Reconciler has been hard at work rebuilding and refining its focus and is beyond ready to return with their sophomore album, Art For Our Sake, via Smartpunk Records. This 13 track LP stands as a testament to the bandâs tenacity and work ethic and is certain to offer Reconcilerâs strongest output to date.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Keith Wallen over Zoom video!
BREAKING BENJAMIN guitarist KEITH WALLEN will drop his latest solo album Infinity Now on May 3 via Rise Records.
Wallen has shared the video for "The Wolfâ. "
'The Wolf' is a song and a concept that I felt a lot of us can identify with," Wallen says. "We've all known those people that for whatever reason we just can't break ourselves away from them. An addiction on every level, all the while knowing it's a toxic situation. You break all those promises to yourself that you'll stay away, but ultimately there you are again."
Commenting on the video, he shares, "The video for 'The Wolf' was shot in a beautiful house in south Nashville. Directed by Courtney Dellafiora, we wanted an intimate look and setting that was reminiscent of waking from a dream in the middle of the night, and then grabbing the guitar and playing the song. The most exciting thing of all with getting to work with 'Bane,' the real live wolf actor and his amazing training staff for the shoot! That was a first for me, and I couldn't be happier how the video turned out."
ABOUT KEITH WALLEN:
Keith Wallen is a prolific songwriter responsible for soaring melodies and hypnotic hooks heard across modern rock radio. The West Virginia-born troubadour uses his solo work as a vehicle to explore his multifaceted passions, moving seamlessly from the smart pop of '80s favorites like The Police and Depeche Mode to the big moody riffs of '90s grunge heroes like Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots.
His co-writing collaborations include compositions with Saint Asonia, Fuel, We Came As Romans, Red, Dorothy, and Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch's Love And Death. Wallen bares his soul as a solo artist with earnest resolve, powering his honest anthems with commanding vocals.
A former member of Adelitas Way, Keith was among his first calls when Benjamin Burnley decided to reform and reconfigure his band. Dark Before Dawn, Breaking Benjamin's powerhouse comeback, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Ember followed in 2018.
Keith's self-produced acoustic and piano-driven Allies EP arrived in 2014. His debut solo album, 2021'sThis World Or The Next, featured "Dream Away," a song streamed 1.4M times on Spotify alone. His second solo album, Infinity Now, includes production and co-writing contributions from Kevin Thrasher (RIVALS, Jelly Roll) and work with Dan Braunstein (Spiritbox, Dayseeker) and Andrew Baylis (Sleeping With Sirens, Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert).
Produced by Kevin Thrasher (Jelly Roll, RIVALS) and mixed by Joel Wanasek (Rain City Drive, Scott Stapp), Keith's sophomore solo album, Infinity Now, extends a warm invitation into the singer/songwriter's heart and mind. Hard rock bombast meets intimate pensiveness via engaging songs like "Blackout," "Strings," and first single, "Headspace Holiday."
As guitarist for Breaking Benjamin, a solo artist or songwriting collaborator, the common threads through Keith Wallen's work are honesty, authenticity, and heartfelt spirit.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Dela Kay over Zoom video!
Alt-Pop sensation Dela Kay recently released her latest single, "IDWTAY" (I donât wanna think about you) â an anthem delving into the complexities of modern dating. The track explores the relatable concept of a "situationship," where one decides to move forward with a new connection, yet the lingering thoughts of a past flame persist. It's that powerful girl anthem about moving on but also still leaning into your toxic tendencies, wanting the old person to feel a little jealous while you do it. With a mix of fun, sexiness, and upbeat aggression, "IDWTAY" is poised to become the go-to song for those navigating the delicate balance between moving on and embracing lingering feelings.
Dela Kay, who hails from the vibrant music scene of Nashville, TN, describes "IDWTAY" as one of her personal favorites among the new songs she plans to release in 2024. Drawing inspiration from artists such as The Maine, Maggie Lindemann, Paramore, and Avril Lavigne, Dela Kay continues to embrace her Alternative roots while crafting music that is both authentic and edgy. The track follows the success of her previous single, "Let You Down," which has amassed over 125K streams and secured a spot on Shazam's Best New Music Apple Playlist. "Let You Down" explored the intricate dynamics of modern relationships, showcasing Dela Kay's ability to craft songs that resonate with listeners on a deep, emotional level.
Dela Kay, who identifies as a songwriter first and foremost, believes that this phase of her career is her most authentic to date. With a commitment to releasing a series of singles throughout 2024, she is determined to leave a lasting impression and make her mark on the music industry with her unique voice and perspective. "I hope to make a lasting impression, making my artistic mark with authenticity and edginess. I think women have a voice and I intend to use mine and donât plan on stopping until I have everyoneâs attention," passionately expresses Dela Kay.
MORE INFO:
Hailing from Nashville, TN, music was always a big part of the household for Dela Kay. Seeing the emotional connection a personal song could make fueled her desire to write and to be a storyteller. She studied musical theater at The Chicago College of Performing Arts at the Theatre Conservatory of Roosevelt University, where she grew creatively in many ways, but ultimately felt a strong call back to her roots of songwriting.
In 2014, her electro-pop style began to emerge through a collaboration with Grammy-winning singer/songwriter and producer, Femke Weidema; which eventually led to her first electro-pop/European-infused single release, â9 out of 10,â as Dela Kay in 2016. Named by Earmilk as an artist who was gifted âwith a rich, distinctive vocal styleâ for her 2018 release of âMake You Mine,â Dela Kay went on to continue releasing singles and garnering hundreds of thousands of streams. In 2019 Dela Kay released âAll My Loveâ through Sony Music, which ended up charting 49 on the top 150 global artist charts for Digital Radio Tracker as well as in the top ten for the Top Independent Charts. The release of âThink About Youâ shortly followed, which ended up becoming Delaâs highest-streamed song to date with almost 800k streams and counting. After a brief hiatus, Dela Kay marked her return by debuting a new, more alternative sound in 2021 with the release of âThe Worst Part,â via Wonderland Magazine.
Encouraged by the positive feedback, Dela Kay delved deeper into this new sound with the release of "Old News," a collaboration with Ryan Dulude and Rikki Jo Randall. Closing out 2022, Dela Kay touched hearts with "Daughter," a poignant song dedicated to her father. This track marked a departure from her usual upbeat style, embracing a more folk-driven alternative sound, rich in vulnerability and cinematic storytelling. With the release of âLet You Downâ in 2023, Dela Kay began her new journey with a wave of fresh content continuing throughout 2024. Looking ahead, Dela Kay plans to embark on a West Coast tour in the spring and summer, bringing her music and unique brand of storytelling to audiences far and wide.

We had the pleasure of interviewing William Elliott Whitmore over Zoom video!
William Elliott Whitmore is taking things into his own hands with Silently, The Mind Breaks, his first album released through his newly formed Whitmore Records. He had the following to say of his new venture: "I'm proud to be sharing this with the world through our literal mom and pop shop. I'm excited for people to hear what I've been working on the last few years."
When asked what to expect from Silently, The Mind Breaks, Whitmore said, "Imagine a large expansive landscape. In the distance, you see what looks like a house. You walk for a long time, and as you get closer, it seems more and more like the house is abandoned. The front door is locked, so you go around the back and enter. Sunlight pours into the otherwise dark space, illuminating a staircase. You walk up, taking notice of a stillness in the air. There are several rooms, you enter the last one in the hallway. In the room there is a closet. You open the closet and see an old chest of drawers. In the bottom drawer is an envelope. You open the envelope and inside there is a note. It says 'You are loved.' You are very tired, but you can't help but smile slightly. I hope this album is that for you."
ABOUT WILLIAM ELLIOTT WHITMORE
Born and raised on a small farm in Lee County, Iowa, a love of the land has always been an important part of William Elliott Whitmore's life. An appreciation for nature and its cycles being taught from an early age. That awareness of birth and death is a constant theme in the songwriting, through a lens of hopefulness and acceptance. These things unify us as people, a theme that is often explored in the music.
With a banjo, guitar and kick drum, Whitmore seeks to convey these ideas. For over 20 years, he has traveled the world, performing everywhere from Rome, Italy to Rome, Georgia. Heâs played basements, backyards, festival stages, and Carnegie Hall, and has no plans to stop anytime soon.
"Life is hard, nasty, and unforgiving at times," Whitmore says. "But it's beautiful, too, and music can be a reminder of what we all have in common, a desire to keep putting one foot in front of the other."
