Three years before FOREVER KNIGHT became a hit TV series about a cop who's also a vampire, NICK KNIGHT was a failed TV series about a cop who's also a vampire!
Rick Springfield stars in the original TV movie, which tells the same story as the pilot for FOREVER KNIGHT except with a bigger budget, better music, and also it's much, much, much less popular.
But could it be that NICK KNIGHT was CANCELED TOO SOON? And could it even have been better than FOREVER KNIGHT...?
[NOTE: We had to record this episode remotely, which led to some audio issues which we have fixed to the best of our ability, which is to say, not entirely. Some of the audio may be quieter than usual as a result.]

One week after THE DUCK FACTORY joked about all of Tim Conway's failed TV shows, we've got one of Tim Conway's failed TV shows! Conway stars as ACE CRAWFORD: PRIVATE EYE, a private detective who bumbles his way through various crimes, and only occasionally dresses up in offensive disguises!
It's a spoof comedy in the tradition of POLICE SQUAD, but maybe a little too much in that tradition, because it was also canceled after only a few episodes. But was it CANCELED TOO SOON?
