  • Hey Carpool Crew! Today on Carpooling with Jesus, Pastor Justin explores a tough question someone asked Jesus in Luke 13:23: “Are only a few people going to be saved?” Instead of giving a number, Jesus flips the question and makes it personal—Are YOU following me?

  • Hey Carpool Crew! Pastor Justin is back with another big question people asked Jesus—this one comes straight from His disciples: “Who then can be saved?” (Matthew 19:25)

The disciples were shocked to hear that it’s hard for rich people to enter heaven. In their world, being rich meant you were already close to God. But Jesus flipped that idea upside down! Today we learn that you don’t have to be perfect, rich, or powerful—you just have to trust Jesus. It’s not about earning God’s love. He already gives it freely.

🚗 Big Idea for Kids:You don’t have to be rich, perfect, or powerful—you just have to trust Jesus.

  • Hey Carpool Crew! Pastor Justin is kicking off a new month full of big questions people asked Jesus. Today’s comes from a rich young ruler who asked, “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” (Mark 10:17)

This man had everything—money, power, and probably a huge collection of shoes and toys. But deep down, he was missing something. When he asked Jesus how to live forever with God, the answer was a lot harder than expected. Jesus showed him (and us) what it really means to put God first.

🚗 Big Idea for Kids:Loving God means putting Him first—more than anything else.

  • 👋 Welcome to Carpooling with Jesus!

Hey carpool crew! 🚗 Whether you’re headed to school, enjoying breakfast, or in the middle of homeschool, today’s episode is about something super close to Jesus’ heart: caring for people who feel left out or alone.

In Matthew 25:35-40, Jesus teaches something powerful—when we care for the lonely, we're actually loving Him. From offering a seat at lunch to simply saying something kind, every little act of love matters more than you think.

    🎯 Takeaways from Today’s Ride:

Jesus notices when we help others

Small acts of kindness = big moments of love

Friendship is one of the best ways to live like Jesus

When we care for someone who feels alone, we’re showing love to Jesus Himself

Pastor Justin shares what it means to be like Jesus in everyday places—like the lunchroom or the playground—and how we can all be that one friend who makes someone feel seen.

💬 Car Question:Who’s someone you can show friendship to today?

🚦 One Thing for the Ride:When you care for someone who feels alone, you’re showing love to Jesus Himself.
