At the time of Jesusâ baby dedication, there were two servants of God who were waiting for the Messiahâs appearance. The names of those faithful servants were Simeon and Anna.
Both of these people were at the Temple in Jerusalem on the day Jesus was brought to be dedicated to the Lord. Have you ever wondered why God chose Mary to give birth to Jesus â to be His mother on the earth and to participate in raising Him? Luke 1:28 says she was âhighly favored,â but why was Mary so âhighly favoredâ that God would choose her to bring Jesus into the world?
