Luke 5 recounts a remarkable moment when Jesus was teaching in a place packed to full capacity. Undeterred by the crowd, four men lowered their paralytic friend through the roof to reach Jesus; and he was gloriously healed to everyone’s amazement.
To encounter the presence and power of Jesus, we must possess unyielding love and compassion, unwavering hope that confesses God’s promises, and persistent faith that never gives up. In doing so, may we be instrumental in unleashing Jesus' healing power to those around us. -
On Father’s Day Weekend, Professor Byron Klaus shares a poignant story of Eli, a biblical father whose sons were scoundrels with no regard for the Lord. Despite failing as a father, Eli taught young Samuel how to listen to the voice of God. Eli became the bridge to Samuel’s destiny as mentor to King David, Israel’s greatest king. The word “father” may evoke pain for some, but a person’s true identity is only defined by God. As we lean on the Holy Spirit, may the grace of God powerfully transform and rearrange the patterns of our lives!

In Psalm 23, David declared that even though he walked through a valley-experience, God’s two attributes of goodness and mercy would surely chase him down, pursue him, and overtake him. God’s irrevocable love reaches down to us; and He promises to never leave us nor forsake us. We are the object of God’s relentless pursuit, His love, and grace!

In the midst of all the noise that may surround us to distract us from the truth of God’s Word, we need to learn how to contend for our faith. The way we can build up our most holy faith is by praying in the Holy Spirit, keeping ourselves in God’s love, and by waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus. Let’s be strong and bold as we lean on God’s promises; knowing that He is always watching over us and guiding us.

When a race begins, the race car driver will accelerate to full speed and for the rest of the race will “never lift” his foot off the gas pedal. That is how the Holy Spirit is in our lives, pouring out His grace and mercy—and He will “never lift”! As believers, we sometimes don’t feel the presence of God when we experience trials and tests of faith. Yet, we have the confidence of knowing that our God will always see us through. He never lifts!

We live in a time when everything is rapidly changing. Believers must recognise that even in changing economic, political, and spiritual seasons—even when darkness reigns now, Jesus is still Lord! We need to take our eyes off limitations, circumstances, the uncertainty of riches; and instead, trust in God’s Word and His character of goodness and faithfulness.

When you encounter the kingdom of God, your life will take an unexpected turn and change in an instant. It may come quietly to individuals in this present age, transforming lives totally; but it will come in power and great glory when Jesus returns. Just like the parables of the treasure in the field and the pearl of great price, the end story will be too marvellous for words.

While faith is a necessary ingredient for healing and miracles, the apostle Paul says that faith works in an atmosphere of love. When you read the Gospels, you would notice that Jesus always prayed with great power and authority whenever someone desired a healing or a miracle. At the same time, the ones who desired their miracles had to act on their faith and do something they could not do before.
Faith is the necessary ingredient for healing and miracles! As you act on your faith, like many others in the gospels, may you experience these words of Jesus: “Your faith has made you well.” -
Ephesians 2:13 says, “But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.”
Good Friday reminds us of 3 things: 1) the blood of Jesus CLEANSES; 2) the blood of Jesus HEALS; 3) the blood of Jesus PROTECTS.

In John 17, Jesus prays that we will experience the same love that God the Father has for Him—a deeply intimate love. Sharing from the parable of the prodigal son, Ps Jeffrey Rachmat delivered a message on the topic of self-image. When the prodigal son was at his lowest, he discounted his value and saw himself as nothing more than a hired servant with no purpose. Self-image is the lens through which we see ourselves; the value we place on our worth. Just as the father embraced and honoured both his sons, may we have a revelation of how much we are loved and valued by God the Father.
