Election Day is FIVE DAYS AWAY! While we (at Clapback) have stressed the significance of this moment and how high the stakes are, letâs not forget the theme of this campaign: joy. Joy in turning the page on the hate and division thatâs plagued our nation for far too long. Joy in continuing the progress that our nation has made since the pandemic. But most importantly, joy in getting out the vote. We can achieve a new chapter in America when voters get out the vote.
For this episode, we take a look at last minute Get Out The Vote tips for Election Day.

On June 29, 2023, the conservative-led Supreme Court struck down race-based affirmative action in higher education. While the ruling was limited to higher education, litigants have used the ruling to attack DEI initiatives in the private sector. We have done a previous episode on the Fearless Fund lawsuit and a settlement was reached in September. Today we are joined by Venture Capitalist Shila Nieves Burney to discuss what this means for Black womenâs economic justice and the pathway forward for Venture capitalists of color.

Each campaign cycle we see new trends emerge and how that energizes the race and turns out new or inconsistent voters. This cycle, we see how those trends are communicated to voters and which issues matter most to voters. We know this election cycle, the baby boomers and gen-z will be the largest voting blocs this cycle and that social media is rising as the new mobilization tactic.
