  • Welcome to E035 family. This episode is a unique blend of medicine, music, and wisdom.

Dr. Mujahid Feroze Din is a Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat Surgeon with over 30 years of experience, currently heading the ENT Department at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi, and lecturing at the University of Nairobi. He’s a pioneer in cochlear implants in Kenya, a former Chairman of the Kenya ENT Society (KENTS), and an active contributor to global medical conferences.

Beyond the hospital, Dr. Mujahid has led a fascinating life—he grew up in Nairobi in the ’60s and ’70s, represented Kenya in chess, captained the Medics Cricket Club, and played a key role in charity work with GIANTS. But what truly sets him apart? His deep love for music.

In this conversation, we explore his journey into medicine, his passion for sound—both in the operating room and on stage—the lessons he’s learned along the way, and his thoughts on AI shaping the future of healthcare in Kenya.

Hope you enjoy the episode and as usual - Appreciate all the love and support from you legends!

  • Welcome to E033 family. Do you remember a show on KTN from the late 90s and early 2000s? Club Kiboko? I ran into the host of the show, Tim, this year!! I had to get him on the podcast to rekindle some old memories and here we are.

Tim is a man of many talents, a story teller, artist, aviator and a very positive being to be around. We chat about those club kiboko days, his transition into aviation, life experiences and all round coffee table banter. Hope you enjoy the conversation as much I did.

Appreciate all the love and support we get on the show from you legends ❀

  • Welcome to E032 of the Coffee Pump Podcast! In this episode, I’m joined by my good friend and mentor in the ICT world, Gathii Muhoro.

We take a trip down memory lane, talking about our early days in the industry—traveling across East Africa as sales partners, working to develop Kenya’s internet landscape. We reflect on our journey, discuss the highs and lows of working in tech, and dive into what it’s like to move from being an employee to building something of your own.

This conversation is a mix of tech insights, personal experiences, and the bond between two friends from different backgrounds who’ve got each other’s backs. It was a great catch-up with Muhoro, and I hope you enjoy the episode.
