On May 16, 2003, a shocking crime unfolded at Blue Ridge Savings Bank in Greer, South Carolina. Sylvia Holtzclaw, the head teller known for her dedication to her community, was working a full day due to a coworkerâs illness. In the summer of 2023, 13-year-old James Yoblonski from Reedsburg, Wisconsin, vanished under mysterious circumstances. On June 12, after a seemingly normal evening, James left his home in the family van, taking a backpack, duffle bags, and several items from his fatherâs belongings. Surveillance footage tracked him to his fatherâs business and then to Devilâs Lake State Park, where his abandoned van and makeshift campsite were later discovered. How could a 12 year old girl get on a public bus after school and never been seen from again? This is exactly what happened with 12 year old Elyssa Vasquez in Clarkston, GA. In January of 2003 Elyssa was starting at a new school and was really excited about it. Her dad and brother were waiting for her at the bus stop near their home after school to hear about her first day. The bus came and went but Elyssa never got off. Police classify her as a runaway and her case goes cold quickly. The community of Clarkston, known for its diversity, did not seem to rally to find the missing girl. Elyssa's family continues to search for her, and her case was reclassified as an endangered missing child after 20 years. The family pleads for any information on her whereabouts.
