Once upon a time...right-wing conspiracy theorists warned us about a coming police-state ran by the global elites. They were right... But...ironically, now they're cheering on that same police state. How is this possible??? Branding.
We will be slowly rolling out a series of episodes on the subject of revolution and how we can actually make it happen. But first we need to lay out the basic contextual framework of how we got here and why revolution is absolutely necessary for our survival.
To help us do this, we're bringing in the professionals.

William I. Robinson is an American sociologist and professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, specializing in political economy, globalization, and social theory. He’s widely recognized for his work on global capitalism and transnational class formation.
In the 1980s, Robinson worked directly with the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN) in Nicaragua during the revolutionary period after they overthrew the Somoza dictatorship in 1979. He was involved in political education, journalism, and solidarity work, helping to support and defend the Sandinista revolution both inside Nicaragua and internationally. His experiences during that time deeply shaped his later academic work on imperialism, social movements, and the global capitalist system.
Robinson remains an outspoken advocate for anti-imperialist movements and often draws on his Sandinista-era experiences in his critiques of U.S. foreign policy and neoliberalism.

A long episode here! Today we are going to start by focusing in on Gaza, which is the most visible epicenter of violent imperial policy on the planet, and then expand into the Gulf States. Trump’s recent trip to Riyadh and and the US effort to build the gulf into an AI bastion against china, get Saudi and Syria to Normalize with Israel in order to expand and complete the Abraham Accords, which it looks like it will happen, and the Iranian nuclear deal developments.

Hello and welcome to Colonial Outcasts, the anti-imperialist podcast that both your MAGA and/or Hindutva Uncle would absolutely hate. Turns out you can both be a hindu nationalist, yearning for the establishment of the Hindu Rahstra, and a white supremacist who loves Trump. We have a special guest Tamkenat Mansoor, fellow activist and political commentator coming to us from Lahore Pakistan to talk about what is happening in the region. You can Follow Tamkenat here:https://www.instagram.com/tamkenat?ut... / @tamkenatmansoor -
Here on Colonial Outcasts we are becoming accustomed to covering controversial and polarizing conflicts where no matter how balanced you try to be you’re gonna catch heat-rounds - Russia/Ukrain, Syria, and now Kashmir. I know many of you are not familiar with the situation in Kashmir and why It matters to you, but I’ll say this and this is my boiler plate perspective. Palestine has been occupied by Israel since 1948, Kashmir has been largely occupied by India since 1947. Both Supremacist ideologies. And since governments learn from each other, military officers and politicians in India’s command echelon are looking at the Annexation of the West Bank and are judging it more likely, since Israel has set a blatant precedent, that they can get away with something similar in Kashmir. Checking off a critical bucket list item: Colonial Outcasts officially coronates its alliance with Irish resistance against colonialism and imperialism via an unapologetic scattershot harangue with Jake, lead the singer of The Shan Vans, a Belfast-based Irish-language rock band blending high-energy sound with a radical political message. Rooted in anti-imperialism and Irish resistance, their music champions decolonization, cultural revival, and international solidarity.
Released last month, their third and latest single The Shan Van, a powerful anti-genocide anthem, forms the centerpiece of Unite Against Genocide, their Ireland-Palestine solidarity project which involved over 100 artists and contributors worldwide.
Jake draws on themes of resistance, decolonization, and cultural memory, influenced by his upbringing in the early OOs in one of the most politically active communities in Ireland, Ballymurphy. Singing in Irish, Jake blends personal and political narratives, often weaving together themes of decolonization, Irish mythology, radical poetry, and contemporary global struggles.

Today we are joined by John Kiriakou - CIA Whistleblower and former intelligence analyst and operations officer for the CIA's Counterterrorism Center - he was integral in exposing the CIA’s enhanced interrogation program in 2007 and did some time for it. For the audience, a rough outline - the legacy of the Iraq War, US/Israel relations and the current internal administration drama about the Iran Nuclear Deal, and the expansion of Guantanamo bay and the CECOT prison in El Salvatore.
As the kids say, it’s giving extraordinary rendition.

We’ve got a great episode for you! Gonna be talking about the the degrading status of the earth’s environment, white feminism and “femme-washing,” might mention Gloria Steinem the OG girl boss who was a CIA asset, mass deportations of US “Homegrowns” to El Salvadorian torture dungeons, and the ongoing campaign of Mass death and ethnic cleansing in Palestine. You might be like “Whoa, that’s a lot of subjects!” No, it’s all one subject, interconnected etc.

Make politics your entire personality.I told y’all the new format would be one geopolitical episode, one social commentary episode, and a possible breaking news episode every week. This is the social commentary one and it is about making politics your entire personality in the face of fascism. To that end we are joined by Davidson Boswell, activist and stand up Comedian coming to us from New York City. We actually met at a breakthrough News panel in Manhattan last year and I’ve been wanting to make this happen. I love your commentary, you also rant into your phone while walking, so solidarity for the old walk-and-talk West-wing Aaron Srokin screenwriting technique, thanks so much for coming on.

Hey y’all welcome to or welcome back to Colonial Outcasts the anti-imperialist podcast that will try, hopefully with a degree of success, to convince you that it is not Israel itself, or its affiliated political lobbying groups such as AIPAC, that control and inform US government policy. Say rather it is the Neoliberal Capitalist system, which the average American toils under without hope, that uses Israel as a convenient patsy to enact policy, fund wars, and foster interventionism that it was already going to do in the first place.

I almost feel stupid talking about the idiocy of Signalgate.
We are going to be discussing the US Navy Vs. the Houthis, why the US strategy won’t work, and we’ll start with the massive Operational Security debacle that is called Signalgate, and what we can learn from it. Yes, Pete Hegseth our stalwart secretary of defense, is a complete idiot. We’re also going to be talking about how the US just deployed a wing of US stealth bombers to the Diego Garcia Airbase in the Indian Ocean - escalation or show of force?
-
Repost from MintPress News:
The Press is already calling it Signalgate, harkening back to the infamous political scandal in 1972 under the Nixon administration. On Monday, March 24th the Atlantic broke the story that journalist Jeffery Goldberg had been added to a signal group chat with US national security leaders discussing impending war plans for aerial combat missions against Houthi leadership in Mid March of this year. Classified information was discussed on an open-source civilian messaging application. While Signal is used by military leaders around the world, according to Signal’s CEO, it is against the PEntagon’s operational security protocols. Using a Signal chat to share highly classified information and accidentally including a reporter on the discussion could raise the possibility of violations of federal laws such as the Espionage Act.It can be a crime to mishandle, misuse or abuse classified information, though it is unclear whether such provisions might have been breached in this case. However, the salient point here is that they were using an app with disappearing messages, a feature not available on secure governmental messaging systems where accountability is a priority. Join us tonight on State of Play to do a deep dive into this budding scandal, and what it means for both the administration and for Yemen.

Hello and elcome to Colonial Outcasts, the anti-imperialist podcast that needs a vacation, but is unlikely to get one. Today we are going to be doing a round table of the conflicts arising in the West Asia which I am calling the Global War on Terror 2.0 - and we’re doing 2.0 because 1.0 only lasted twenty years, killed millions from Afghanistan to Lybia, and accomplished pretty much nothing. AQ is still around, the Taliban are still around, there are open air slave markets in Lybia and the Islamic State ideaology has spread its way across Africa in the Sahel. And yes, all the while you got poorer, less educated, and we want more of that.
Join us as we look at the violence of late-stage imperial power.

An emergency episode with Dr. Altalla of the al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza who returns to provide a brief update on the latest influx of casualties as the result of Trump’s continuation of Biden’s blank check policy to supply Israel the tools it needs to “finish the job”. In the past 24 hours an estimated 400+ civilians have been slaughtered along with hundreds more injured.

Sign and support Mahmoud here: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/demand-the-immediate-release-of-columbia-student-pro-palestine-advocate-mahmoud-khalil-from-dhs-detentionFollow Nerdeen here for updates: https://x.com/NerdeenKiswaniThis episode is about the disappearing and potential deportation of Mahmoud Khalil - Palestinian activist detained by ICE over Columbia University protests. President Trump has likened him to a terrorist sympathizer for saying such direct quotes as ““As a Palestinian student, I believe that the liberation of the Palestinian people and the Jewish people are intertwined and go hand-by-hand and you cannot achieve one without the other.” He told CNN last spring. We’re going to be talking to Nerdeen Kiswani - Palestinian-American activist and organizer. She is a co-founder and chair of Within Our Lifetime, a pro-Palestinian activist group in New York City, and Marie Adele - third year student at Barnard/Columbia and activist for Palestine who know Mahmoud personally. We’re also going to be doing a know your rights call to action at the end of this because they’re trying to make the 1st amendment - fungible.

Emergency Sunday Episode: Hello and Welcome to Colonial Outcasts, the anti-imperialist podcasts that a lot of people are going to hate and no one is going to be happy and the pro-palestine movement will get refractured again because this is an emergency Sunday episode about Syria… probably the messiest battle space in existence with dozens of warring factions, literally every global and regional power has its fingers invested in this conflict, and there is propaganda coming from every side…

It will be if insane if this totally reasonable interview gets taken down...
We are going to be focusing more on domestic issues today - your healthcare, your declining material conditions, and how both the democrats and republicans will come together to stamp down on any working class dissent.
To that end, we are joined by James from Comrade Workwear. He runs Comrade Workwear which recently got into hot water with nearly every major corporation and the NYPD for a deck of playing cards he designed in the wake of the assassination of Brian Thompson which featured the CEOs of prominent companies and information about their misdeeds. He runs comrade workwear and recently launched Means workwear with the means co-op.

So what we are talking about today is the state of the Democratic Party and how much they love to lose. If y’all took a break from the news cycle over the weekend you may have missed the story broken by politico about this DNC operative retreat where a bunch of democratic “strategists” gathered at an east coast resort to talk about how to win mid terms in 2026 and to take the Whitehouse in 2028 by doing the exact same thing they’ve been doing since 2015….
