Preparing for life after high school can be an exciting and daunting task, and whether you’re a student, parent or educator, it’s normal to have anxiety about how to be successful in a new educational setting.
This summer, Be My Eyes is teaming up with Perkins School for the Blind and Accessible Pharmacy to present a live webinar event for blind and low vision students, families and educational professionals focused on getting everyone ready for independent living, college, jobs and beyond. We will discuss skills, training, and tips for students and families – and we’ll hear from some real students who have been through this process recently. -

In this community call from May, 2021, the team hosts a large group of mostly US-based Be My Eyes users to talk about all the ways you can call companies and tech support representatives using the Be My Eyes app. Beyond just calling a volunteer, this is a great way to get an expert on the line to look at your issue for you and get it resolved quickly. We announced some great new companies now providing support, answered questions, and heard some great stories about how other users have taken advantage of Specialized Help to become faster and more efficient in their day to day lives.
