This month we will take some time in prayer and reflection to remember our loved ones who have gone before us. We encourage you to have pictures of your loved ones with you, and your votive or prayer candle ready to light during the evening.
We will light a candle on site at Our Lady of the Rosary in honour of our faithful departed. We are inviting you to email us a 10-15 second recording of the names of any persons you would like to remember on this evening. The recordings will be played as part of a moment of remembrance. This song is a prayer to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It was originally composed as a prayer to be gifted to Archbishop Jason Gordon when he left Barbados. He was Bishop of Bridgetown until his appointment as Archbishop of Port of Spain in 2017. What should a prayer for a Priest or Bishop sound like? I could only imagine that it would be something like what follows below. For me it is a prayer for a Shepherd blessed to be taking care of some of God's flock. It's also a prayer suited for each member of the flock. We hope that this prayer will help to bring you closer to God.
