South Florida-based singer-songwriter Leah Dibut begins 2025 with a powerful new chapter in her career, releasing her latest single, “Thank You.” Blending her signature mix of pop and R&B with raw emotion and storytelling, Dibut’s new track delivers an empowering message of resilience and self-love.
“‘Thank You’ came from a very personal place,” Leah shared. “I went through a moment in my life where I felt impacted by someone in a way that shook me, and I knew I needed to write this song for myself. That purpose really comes through in the lyrics.”
Leah Dibut’s voice, known for its velvety tone and soulful delivery, brings a dynamic range of emotions to “Thank You.” Reflecting on the creative process, she said, “One of my favorite elements of the song is how it feels. From the subtle storytelling of the first verse to how the intensity builds as the song progresses, it’s an elevation of emotion that I love.”
Creating the single wasn’t without its challenges. Leah worked closely with a trusted collaborator who understood her vision. “Finding the right words was tough,” she admitted. “You have so many feelings running through you, and it’s hard to put them into words. But having someone who’s been through similar experiences helped bring everything together.”
The music video for “Thank You” is a visual representation of Leah’s evolution as an artist. Working with her mother to conceptualize the visuals, Leah embraced a darker, edgier aesthetic. “We wanted to capture something different, something I hadn’t done before,” she explained. “It was about bringing out the edginess inside of me, and that’s reflected in everything—from the colors to the roaring ’20s-inspired hairstyle.”
Although Leah is rebranding as an independent artist after signing with Mr305 Records in 2023, her commitment to authenticity remains unwavering. She credits her time with the label for teaching her how to balance artistry with personal life, lessons she now applies to her independent career. “I learned so much during that time—about myself, being in the studio, and balancing being an artist with being a normal person. That was a major highlight in my career.”
When asked what she hopes listeners take from the single, Leah emphasized the importance of vulnerability and self-expression. “I want people to know that I’m just as human as they are. I get frustrated, I don’t always get along with people, and that’s okay. My message is that it’s cool to say whatever’s on your mind and to feel those emotions—that’s what makes us human.”
As she continues to evolve as an artist, Leah’s focus remains on building a strong connection with her audience. “I want to be their voice,” she said passionately. “Whatever they’re going through, I want them to know I’m here for them. I want a strong relationship with my listeners because we’re all in this together.”
Leah Dibut’s “Thank You” is more than just a song—it’s a declaration of empowerment and a reminder of the power of resilience. Available now on all major streaming platforms, Thank You marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter in Leah’s journey.

BioThe Reckless is excited to share their newest EP, Who Are You, after a string of singles
over the past few years. The titular track “Who Are You” is a powerhouse debut of their
evolved sound and welcomes listeners to a new era of The Reckless.
Since its debut, the band has undergone a complete sound evolution. The Reckless
began during the pandemic as a one-man show by frontman Fritz Fayman. Joined by
talented musicians who shared his vision, Fayman soon welcomed bassist Michael
Kennedy, who would become a mainstay member. During this period, the band released
one EP, The Get in a Fight EP, while trying to strike harmony with fleeting band
members. Soon after, they encountered Riku Myllykoski, who joined the group on
drums. Within months, John Kelly joined on guitar to complete the group.
“Our sound has become more advanced with our current crew,” shares Fritz Fayman.
“Everyone is doing more to the song—it’s not just me writing everything. Everyone is
doing their parts, which allows for a blending of our styles. There is a level of humility
amongst all our band members. We’re each figuring out what we’re good at and
combining influences and sounds to reach our potential and continued potential.”
Now, The Reckless weaves the distinct interests and musical backgrounds of the four
members to create the robust, authentic, and captivating sound found in their latest EP,
Who Are You.
The band is committed to releasing new music every 3-4 months to connect with their
growing fanbase. “We started making singles for content and creating new music as we
worked to nail down our sound as a group,” shares Fayman. “We were practicing for two
hours twice a week to make sure we were the best band we could be at live shows.”
Their effort has paid off, as demonstrated by captivated audiences during their
powerhouse performances.
Who Are You combines four unique songs into one memorable EP. The titular single,
“Who Are You” opens the stage, followed by the rock anthem “Do it for Free,” the pop-
punk banger “Home,” the reimagined throwback song “GO ON,” and the thoughtful
finale “Remember Me.” Each song contributes a new layer of complexity to the group’s
sound, which comes together with Fritz’s emotive singing from track to track.
The headline track, “Who Are You” began as a riff Fritz put together. “I brought it to the
band and asked what they thought. The song turned out to be an example of the whole
band working together. Riff, base line, drum bits… we each contributed our part.”
“The EP is a great example of how much we’ve grown,” adds Fayman. “There is such a
difference between our first EP and the newer EP that demonstrates our ability to
evolve.”
“Who Are You” was born from a casual exploratory session, during which Fritz Fayman
developed a riff in drop d tuning—inspired by some of the more metal bands Fritz had
recently been listening to—that was heavy yet simple. Playing around, he created a
rough outline of the song and brought the band in to contribute their thoughts.
“It brought out the vibe of a walkout song for a baseball pitcher,” explains Fayman. “It’s
about to go down right now. That excitement from the feeling of watching your favorite
player walking out.” The drumbeat was created using rim shots (outer edges of the
drum), followed by a heavy bass sound. Then came the addition of a guitar riff.
“As we played more, the song came together. Intro. Verse. Lyrics. We took inspiration
from a post we made where we got our first kind of hate comment. We laughed because
we’d made it with that first hate comment.” As Fayman explains, it’s not about the
people writing hateful comments, rather about getting past negativity and writing a great
song to counter what they were saying.
“It’s an angry, upbeat, powerful song,” he adds. “It’s a great example of everything The
Reckless is capable of and does with its wide variety of dynamic shifts, hard-hitting
moments, pauses, and impactful lyrics. I’m really proud of that song.”
At the end of the day, The Reckless wants listeners to know that it’s worth giving your
passion a shot—and really trying your best. They’re excited to keep entertaining live
audiences and giving music lovers a chance to unwind and feel free to express
themselves. Listeners can look forward to more music from The Reckless in the coming
months.

ECHASL is a dynamic and emerging artist whose music blends Eastern and Western influences, creating a distinctive sound that transcends traditional genre boundaries. Hailing from China, she showcases the richness of her cultural heritage while merging it with contemporary Western styles. Her debut single, "I Know U Know," offers a captivating listening experience, driven by her powerful voice and unique fusion of instruments. This track serves as both a debut for ECHASL and a preview of her upcoming album, Little Black Sheep. It also acts as a protest song, addressing discrimination, including sexism and racism. The song is inspired by the true story of the first Chinese woman documented to have arrived in the United States. Tricked and sold to a circus, she became an exhibit for audiences, dehumanized and objectified. ECHASL's poignant lyrics and storytelling bring to life the emotional journey of this historical figure, while advocating for racial and gender equality.Musically, "I Know U Know" blends the ancient Chinese gu qin (a traditional stringed instrument) with Western double bass and a pop-infused drum beat, creating a rich tapestry of sounds that defy categorization. The result is a harmonious fusion of pop, electronic, and alternative music, enhanced by ECHASL’s extraordinary vocal range. From a deep contralto to a soaring soprano, she effortlessly navigates multiple styles, including R&B, rock, and even country, showcasing her versatility as a vocalist.Lyrically, the song captures the emotional depth of a young Chinese girl’s tragic story, while the accompanying video incorporates elements from both Eastern and Western cultures to further convey the theme of unity and acceptance. ECHASL’s message is clear: despite our differences, we are all the same.Currently in her final semester at the Berklee College of Music, ECHASL is studying songwriting and musical theater performance. She relocated to the United States at the age of 13 and began her music career in 2024. Her artist name, ECHASL, is an acronym for "Every Cloud Has a Silver Lining," reflecting her optimistic approach to creating music. As a hands-on artist, she not only writes her own lyrics but also collaborates closely with producers to craft the sounds she envisions, often pushing the boundaries of conventional music production. The fusion of a gu qin with a double bass is a testament to her innovative approach. Her passion for experimentation extends to other tracks, such as "Butterfly on Fire," where she successfully incorporated bagpipes into her composition—a request she made to her producer, who initially doubted the combination.Eager to share her unique sound with the world, ECHASL is establishing herself in the global music scene. Her music is a powerful reflection of her cultural heritage, personal experiences, and dedication to using her platform to raise awareness about important social issues. Though she doesn't expect her music to change the world, she believes that, as an artist, her voice is a powerful tool for protest and advocacy. With "I Know U Know," she takes a bold step toward blending cultures and speaking out for those who have been silenced. As ECHASL continues to release music, her journey promises to be one of bold creativity and meaningful impact, as she seamlessly fuses Eastern and Western cultures, offering a musical experience unlike any other.

Ollie Byrd finally dated the girl he had dreamed of since he was 14. They were together for several years before parting ways. A year after the breakup, Ollie wrote a song about the experience—a quintessential emo narrative. Decades later, he revisited the track, producing it in low-fi with subtle rock guitar elements, and released it as “The Sun Will Bring the Day Again.”The title, which does not appear in the lyrics, reflects a sentiment of optimism, as Ollie explains, “I couldn’t bring myself to make it that sad… I thought it would be nice to have at least the title be optimistic.” The song, a reflection on the loss of his first true love, captures a raw, universal theme.“The Sun Will Bring the Day Again” is, in Ollie’s words, “about acceptance.” He elaborates, “I had a crush on her since I was 14. She was literally the girl of my dreams. We had four or five years together, but I took it for granted, and of course, there’s the level of testosterone motivating a young man to do silly, extremely stupid behaviors.”Having started recording at home in 2004, Ollie has long embraced the low-fi sound. He often draws comparisons to Alex G, a popular artist known for recording at home, with Ollie noting, “Every kid records at home now. Every kid in America has an album.” Ollie plays all the instruments himself and serves as his own producer.Ollie’s 2006 album Barrel O’ Fun received positive reception, and he toured with a band for several years. However, he realized that the music business, while rewarding, couldn’t sustain him long-term. After a period off the radar, Ollie released music in 2012 before taking it down for rework. In 2018, his song “Couple Skate” from Barrel O’ Fun went viral on Instagram, prompting him to return to his music career. Although Ollie still enjoys hard rock and over-driven guitars, he has since embraced a more mellow style, drawing inspiration from acoustic artists like Nick Drake and Jeremy Enigk.Reflecting on his growth as a musician, Ollie notes that when he originally wrote “The Sun Will Bring the Day Again,” he had limited compositional skills. However, when recording it years later, he applied the techniques he had honed over the years. He incorporated elements of over-driven guitar inspired by Brian Eno’s work on Here Come the Warm Jets to add complexity and texture to the original, simple concept.“The Sun Will Bring the Day Again” remains a deeply personal track for Ollie, infused with raw emotion. It is a testament to both his growth as an artist and the heartache that inspired it. With new music on the horizon, listeners can connect with Ollie Byrd across all platforms for fresh songs, videos, and updates.

Drummer and songwriter JustHutch never set out to launch a career as a recording artist—it simply happened. Her debut album, Maze, features nine tracks that span hip-hop, rap, and various other genres. With a conversational and melodic rap style, she also incorporates her vocal talents, blending rap with singing. Some tracks even include actual conversations, further adding to the album's unique charm. The album's melodies are diverse, ranging from blues and hip-hop to orchestral and funk influences. As a drummer, Hutch brings a distinctive flavor to the beats, which she creates herself as part of her wider musical portfolio. “It’s kind of all over,” she explains, reflecting on her genre-bending approach. “But that’s just the thing. It’s cool to play in different genres and showcase different things.”Thematically, Maze delves into Hutch’s personal experiences, particularly her toxic relationships. "A lot of those songs were in the vault, and I just wanted to push them out," she reveals. "I wasn’t going to do anything with those songs, but then I thought, I might as well put them out and see where it goes.”The album opens with "Drums Intro," which holds special significance for Hutch, as it marks the moment her musical journey as an artist began. The track was created spontaneously in a friend's studio. "We were just jamming," she recalls, "I didn’t even know it was being recorded. I was just having fun with it." After the session, her friend encouraged her to pursue music, and Hutch realized she had something special.Although she’s primarily known for her drumming, Hutch has performed with bands, including at LA's Peppermint Club, a venue where Justin Bieber has performed. She also runs Icebox Studios LLC, where she produces and creates her own beats. Despite her extensive background in music, venturing into artist work and songwriting is a new endeavor for her. “This is new to me,” she admits. “I didn’t even know I had the potential."Maze is a reflection of her exploration into new artistic territory. The album's varied sounds, unexpected transitions, and eclectic use of instruments, such as the haunting flute in “Drill,” make it a dynamic listening experience. Hutch is also working on other projects and hints that her next album will explore more R&B influences. "Sometimes it’s rap, sometimes it’s R&B, sometimes it’s hip-hop," she shares. “Artistically, I can play guitar, I can play drums, I can produce anything that comes my way. I’m just going to keep doing this and see how much better I can get.”Maze marks the beginning of JustHutch's exciting journey as an artist, and she’s eager to continue experimenting and perfecting her craft.

“We Were Golden,” written and recorded this year, is classic, as-good-as-it-gets 1960s California beach rock. It is many other things, also, including a yet-to-be golden oldie.
It is oldie gold alright, but melted down, re-refined and crafted into something brand new. Mike Mahoney, a California native, lived that time and, with his co-writer and producer David Blackburn, wrote it into the song.
The track was released under Mike’s band name, Mikey’s In The Mustang.
“I wanted to write a tribute song to Brian Wilson for all the inspiration gave us,” he said. “Not so much the cars and the surf songs but for the romanticism of being young – the true ‘California Sound.’” But that wasn’t actually the start. Back in the day, before the Army, before he went to Vietnam, he played in a group and wrote songs. Fifty-five years later, age 75, after success as an entrepreneur and real estate developer, he returned to his music.
“Some of my family and an old friend suggested to me that I record some of the songs I wrote back then. I never got to record them, and it was a lifelong dream to go into the studio and see what could happen. So, that is what led to the release of my album On The Road.”
It was to be a vanity album, one and done.
“But then, I thought as a final project I would write a tribute song to Brian. His music has been a soundtrack for my life.”
For youngsters, that would be Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, back when rock was not yet even a teenager.
“It was several months of us reworking it and trying to make it tell a story, to make sense. My concept was to do it in a sort of ‘Good Vibrations’ fashion, with three movements.”
First movement, the place — told in surf, sand and highway rock:
We were golden, in endless summer sandWe were golden, we thought we had it plannedSunset Strip’s alive at night, the Byrds are on the stageSpringfield’s in the canyon — man, they’re all the rage
Second movement, the soft, slow, romantic middle — nighttime on the beach:
On that summer night, with your tender touch and kissI am falling in love…with you.
Finally, “the reprise,” he calls it — the music back on the road, barreling down the highway, but this time the vibe is the time, the era:
Can’t we just stay free and young, playing our guitars?’Cuz at the battle of the bands tonight, we’re taking off for Mars
The YouTube video tells the story visually.
The tribute extends to the instrumentation. He wanted ’60s-period instruments to produce ’60s-period sound.
“One of the problems nowadays is it’s recorded digitally, and digital doesn’t let you get some of the sounds that you could get if you were doing it reel-to-reel like in 1967. So, what we used were all vintage instruments.”
Working with David as arranger and musician as well as co-writer and producer, the song became a reality. “I’m the lyricist and the concept guy who started this project, but I decided not to sing on it because it wasn’t going to come out the way I wanted.”
What he wanted was authenticity, which is why he recruited as vocalists the Croome brothers, Patch and Liam, from their band, Daring Greatly.
“I wanted younger voices who are brothers to get the harmony that only siblings can do, like the Wilson brothers did back then,” said Mike.
He said that people who previewed the song told him it sounded like a “1967 hit that never got released.”
“That encouraged us to create a video and a Netflix-series type script, and that led to a soundtrack album to go along with the script.”
“We Were Golden” has evolved from tribute song to story to a full-blown project involving not only music but television — a streaming series or movie telling the story of “a group of college kids in 1967 who also were in a band,” to quote the elevator pitch for the script.
The key parts of the story are the band members, the innocence of their lives in Orange County in the ’60s, and the effect of the Vietnam War on them and their generation. The storyline moves to 2017 when the band reunites for “one of the concerts that they never got to do — a true homecoming.”
A Mikey’s In The Mustang concert will be filmed this spring.
Mikey’s In The Mustang is on a roll. They are not trying to turn back some cosmic clock. They are bringing something precious from that time into this one.

About Gaby Casadesus Born Gabrielle l'Hôte, she studied at the Paris Conservatory with Louis Diémer and Marguerite Long and was awarded the first prize in piano at age 16. She met Claude Debussy at this time, as he was the judge for one of her competitions. Gaby later won the Prix Pagès, which was the most prestigious award in France at the time for which women were eligible. In 1921, she married the pianist Robert Casadesus and with him formed the Robert and Gaby Casadesus duo. The duo made many recordings of the four-hand piano repertoire. However, Gaby was also a significant soloist. She knew Maurice Ravel, Gabriel Fauré, Florent Schmitt and Moritz Moszkowski, and her interpretations were aided by their guidance. Her repertoire also included Felix Mendelssohn, whose music she effectively championed, and the keyboard composers of the Baroque era. As a teacher, Gaby Casadesus taught in the US, at the Salzburg Mozarteum, at the Académie Maurice Ravel in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and most notably at the American Conservatoire at Fontainebleau. Among her notable pupils are Donna Amato, David Deveau, Rudy Toth, and Vladimir Valjarević. After her husband's death in 1972, she worked with Grant Johannesen and Odette Valabrègue Wurtzburger, to found the Robert Casadesus International Piano Competition which ran from 1975 to 1993. Casadesus died November 12, 1999, at age 98 in Paris. She is buried with her husband and son, Jean in Recloses, department of Seine-et-Marne. About Therese

Casadesus Rawson Daughter of the late French pianists Robert and Gaby Casadesus, Therese Casadesus Rawson received a Ph.D. in French language and literature from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977. She has taught French, Humanities, French Diction and French vocal repertoire to singers at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia for nearly 30 years. Besides teaching and performing—she is a soprano focusing on Bach and French repertoire--Therese Casadesus Rawson is also active as a lecturer in a variety of topics pertaining to French culture, music, literature, painting, culinary arts. She has been and continues to be involved with French or Franco-American cultural institutions. She was President of the Alliance Française de Philadelphie for nearly 10 years, and has been President of the Fontainebleau Associations for 25 years: the stateside support group which helps organize and finance the summer Music and Fine Arts program at the Château de Fontainebleau. Therese’s involvement with the Fontainebleau Schools is steeped in the legacy of her famous parents, Robert and Gaby, and her brother Jean, who were themselves devoted to the Fontainebleau Schools, teaching extensively at the Conservatoire Américain (the music side of the program). Remarkably, Robert and Gaby succeeded in running the program in New England during World War II and Gaby continued to teach until her passing in 1999 at the age of 98. The French Government awarded Therese the Palmes Académiques in recognition of her teaching activities, and, in 2001, she was named to the rank of Chevalier des Arts et Lettres on account of her efforts on behalf of Franco-American cultural affairs. BiMultitalented singer, musician, and producer, Blacq Prodigal gifts listeners with his latest single,
"For What You Have Done," featuring Tiffany Andrews & The Unit. Through his music, Blacq Prodigal welcomes listeners to the church community and the fulfillment of having a true connection with God.
Hailing from Punta Gorda, Florida, Blacq Prodigal delivers thoughtful, soul-awakening ballads
for all to enjoy. His talents reach beyond singing into the realm of songwriting, production, and
business management. A producer and owner of his production company, Church Boy Ent.,
Blacq Prodigal is no stranger to working hard for a cause he believes in. “Everyone has different
talents and gifts,” shares Blacq Prodigal. “I let my team use their talents in the best way they
can.” Alongside the musicians under his wing, Blacq Prodigal connects churches and events with
musicians to enable people to praise and worship anywhere.
Blacq Prodigal’s music is not only a lifelong passion but also his calling. “I was born into music
like I was born into church,” shares Blacq Prodigal. “My mom sang, and my dad was a musician.
Both are pastors at our church. I taught myself to play drums, bass guitar, lead guitar, and piano
just by being in church all the time. My father moved me around learning all the instruments.”
Despite mastery of many instruments, Blacq Prodigal lets the message lead the way in his
songwriting. His approach to writing always begins with the lyrics. Empowered with both
written and musical talent, Blacq Prodigal finds that music flows naturally once the words are
on the page. Through every song, he seeks to remain authentic to a higher calling. “I write
words because it’s a personal conversation with God,” shares Blacq Prodigal. “My music is a
message that’s given to me.”
“To me, it’s a love ballad to God,” Blacq Prodigal explains. “How I’m thankful for all the things
he’s done—good or bad. It’s always been a learning experience. He’ll bring me through those
experiences by living life.”
Blacq Prodigal wants listeners to know that being in love with God isn’t a bad thing. “I’m
thankful for what he’s done,” explains the artist. “People want him to do something for them.
I’m thankful for what he’s already done.” The single is a ballad focusing on the entire
relationship with God. His words both guide listeners to another way of life and reflect on his
own experiences.
Working with Tiffany Andrews, the featured artist on his single, was “a dream come true” for
Blacq Prodigal. “It was amazing working with her,” he shares. “Four years ago, I told my wife I
wanted to work with her on this.” Call it manifestation or divine intervention, Blacq Prodigal
was blessed with the opportunity he had hoped for.
Up next for Blacq Prodigal is the upcoming single “Goodbye to the Game.” The ballad reflects
on Blacq Prodigal’s time on the streets and how he’s long since moved forward. During his time
in prison, Blacq Prodigal was able to develop his vision for this project. “I wrote the ballad
because it’s part of my life,” he adds. “I’m not afraid or ashamed of it. By being able to relate to
the streets and in church, I’m trying to be the bridge that brings people back to God. If I can
return, everyone can return.”

BioSometimes music is more than just a listening experience, inspiring us to connect with
something deeper.Such is the case with the music of rising artist Jeryko, whose debut full-length album invites listeners to explore their own sense of meaning and wonder. Known for his sold-out
performances at New York venues like Gramercy Theater and Music Hall of Williamsburg,
Jeryko has cultivated a local US and international fanbase from places like South Africa,
Europe, and Australia. His signature style blends neo-Hasidic spirituality with contemporary
sounds. In collaboration with producer Prince Fox, his new album is being released track by
track, starting with the singles “Walk Away” and “Dreaming.”
The latest single, “Dreaming,” captures the heart of Jeryko’s artistic vision: what he calls the
second coming-of-age. This pivotal life stage, as he describes it, involves moving beyond the
initial transition into adulthood to seek a deeper purpose, forge meaningful connections, and
embrace a connection with something higher than ourselves. “It’s about committing to a life with
more depth—asking yourself, ‘What am I here for?’”
Musically, the single balances dreamlike airiness with grounded determination. Ethereal beats
and layered guitar melodies point to the higher aspirations of Jeryko’s dreams, while gritty bass
and drum breakdowns reflect the earthly resolve needed to achieve them. The lyrics underscore
this duality:
“Dreaming / Head’s up in the clouds / I’m just dreaming / They tell me to come down / All
they know is what they tell themselves / But I’m still dreaming in the clouds / Not coming
down.”
With influences like Kings of Leon, Chance the Rapper, and Mac Miller, Jeryko’s sound defies
genres while staying deeply rooted in his faith. His spiritual and artistic direction draws
inspiration from pioneers like Hasidic reggae star Matisyahu and Christian rapper Forrest Frank.
Similarly, Jeryko is bringing Jewish-inspired music into the global mainstream. Producer Prince
Fox, known for his work with Bebe Rexha and Hailee Steinfeld, contributed his expertise to the
project, helping Jeryko craft a polished yet soulful sound.
Jeryko’s creative process is inspired by Jewish mysticism, particularly the idea that every
moment and creation has its own melody. “When I write,” he explains, "it feels similar to an act
of prayer, because you& trying to communicate the most real things in your heart and connect
with something much bigger than yourself." Whether composing alone or improvising with an
audience, this philosophy drives his artistry and creates a sense of connection in his music.
The theme of a second coming of age resonates deeply with Jeryko’s personal journey. After
early experiences and a career behind the scenes in the music industry, working in labels and
management, there was a moment when something clicked. His passion for creating
music—and inspiring others—ultimately drew him back. “When you have so many people in one
room listening to you,” he says, “you have an incredible opportunity to share a positive
message. I think a lot of artists miss out on that opportunity.” Jeryko wants to leave his listeners
with meaningful takeaways they can carry into their own lives.
Jeryko’s music is available on all major streaming platforms. Listen to now on Spotify, and learn

Bio
International R&B artist Will Preston invites listeners to explore a deeper facet of love in his latest single, “Merry Go Round.” With 20 years of singing and performing under his belt, Will welcomes fans all over the world to a new chapter of his career.
2024 is the year of Will Preston. From launching his first clothing label, My Best Interest Apparel, to releasing his new single, Will has taken personal setbacks as an opportunity to work even harder this year. At the beginning of 2024, Will unexpectedly lost his father, who was a devoted supporter of Will’s career. “It was ammunition to keep me going. My father would’ve been proud of what I’ve accomplished this year,” shares Will Preston. Now, approaching the tail-end of 2024, Will is excited to share his latest release, the single “Merry Go Round.”
“Merry Go Round” is an introspective look at the darker side of love, the push and pull of wanting someone you know isn’t good for you. Instead of walking away, the narrator (through the voice of Will) explores the complexity of wanting to move on while also wanting to stay on the ride that is love.
It’s a tune to which many can relate. Few are lucky enough to never know the pain of holding on to a relationship that has long been dead and only hope is left to keep it alive. Then there’s the rest of us, who hang to Will Preston’s every lyric in mutual understanding.
“Merry Go Round” opens with dreamy, upbeat vibes, slowly introducing Will Preston’s smooth vocals into the mix. His voice carries emotion and depth that add a layer to the story. Combining his signature smooth R&B vocals with a pop twist, Will Preston breathes new life into the single, showcasing his vocal strength and versatility. By infusing his signature ballad style with a tinge of pop, Will is able to speak to wider audiences with his latest single.
Since the release of his last single, Will Preston has taken time to reflect and write. “Coming through the end of COVID, there was a lot of downtime in the music industry. This created the perfect opportunity to dig deeper into concepts and topics. I wanted to explore love from the standpoint of a toxic love situation. It’s a different side of love we don’t often think about, and taking a break from performing during COVID gave me a chance to ponder deeply into the notion. There are so many facets of love to explore,” explains Will.
As for his clothing line, Will Preston is excited to embark on a new creative journey. “I know music, but fashion is a different world for me. You can try to apply the same formulas, but it’s different. Yet, like my music, I strive to make something high quality that I would be proud to wear. I translate the same energy of making music to my clothing line.”
Much like making music, Will finds that he can convert a vision or sound into a finished product in his fashion venture. “It’s a different way of seeing the world through a creative lens. You just can’t put words to it,” he adds.
Next year, we can look forward to Will Preston commencing a new chapter. Not only will he be releasing his new album (before his birthday in April), but he will also be focusing on live performances and engaging with fans on tour.

Rose Prince is an artist who thrives on the emotional authenticity of his music. And,
through his own emotional authenticity, he hopes to find relatability with his listeners.
His new single “Freak” is one that compiles a series of late night adventures he's had in
his life. He hopes it reminds people of their own exciting nights out.
“I’m picking up diamonds and curating certain experiences from my life. I want to say it's
like a dark dream…somewhere between fantasy and reality. It’s not like my life is like
this every day…but I wrote this song because I’ve been there.”
Written over the course of years, “Freak” is a song Rose Prince hopes people queue up
in their pre-game moments, add to their *spicy* playlist, or blast through bass-boosting
car speakers on the way to the afterparty. As a songwriter who always writes with
intentionality, he wants the lyrics of the song to resonate with people. He also wants the
song to give people confidence in their “carpe diem” moments. Through the song’s
entrancing production, heavy bass and overall mystical sound, the dreamlike state Rose
was going for is strong throughout the entirety of the track.
“When people hear this, I want them to be like ‘Oh wow, this is hard.’ I want them to feel
that way about the beat and the lyrics.”Rose Prince is an artist that doesn’t only create or listen to music but absorbs it. Whenlistening to his favorite artists, lyrics and production stand out to him clearly. He admiresartists like The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky and Metro Boomin, who are all known for
immersive sonic cohesion in their music. The emotional resonance he has with lyrics of
his favorite songs is the blueprint for the effect his own music is written to have.
“I write the music I want to hear.” The song “Freak” is a track whose lyrics paint specific pictures in the listener's mind. They take the person hearing Rose Prince’s words to the moment he was in and the mindstate during those events.
“There’s no limit to what you can write. Lyrics are pure emotion turned into words and
you take that emotion and build whatever you want with it.”
For Rose Prince, the sounds around the lyrics are just as important. Rose often
envisions melodies and sounds in his own head and works with producers to bring the
full concept to life. Sometimes, the producer brings something different than what he
had in mind and the end result is one that is even greater than what he envisioned.
Collaboration is something he embraces and he’s well aware of the positive results it
can create. “I’d say my strength is in songwriting…I want to find producers who can take my vision
for a song and craft a professional quality production…I’m not willing to sacrifice
quality…I think combining skill sets is important as a creator.”
While “Freak” sits in the lane of electronic, pop, rap-signing, Rose plans to go for
something completely different with his next release. However, the intentionality with the
music remains. By having such a diverse interest in the multi layered beauty of music,
Rose Prince is able to take inspiration from his influences and craft something that best
reflects who he is. He knows that no matter what he writes, they will be his words and
they will be expressed in the way that he wants them to be. The emotional resonance
and relatability will remain at the forefront as he crafts his story his way.
